Our Club Advisor Dr. Abu Bin Ihsan & President Md. Imran Hossen Visit Nayapara FDMN Camp, Teknaf with Pharmacy Representatives (Students & Faculty Members) of Eastern University

On April 16, 2026, the Pharmacy representatives (students & faculty members) of Eastern University conducted an insightful field visit to the Nayapara FDMN (Rohingya) Camp, Teknaf, as part of their “Introduction to Public Health” course.

Alongside our respected advisor Abu Bin Ihsan, Imran (President, Eastern University Public Health Club), Research & Data Analysis Secretary Afroza Akter Eva had the privilege to be part of this visit, engaging with healthcare professionals and camp authorities. The experience provided valuable insights into primary healthcare services, vaccination planning, and the logistical challenges of delivering medical care in a humanitarian setting.

This visit reflects our commitment to bridging academic knowledge with real-world public health practice and social responsibility.

Celebrating World Health Day 2026

The Eastern University Public Health Club (EUPHC) successfully organized a Health Seminar under the banner of Celebrating World Health Day, aiming to raise awareness on health, well-being, and preventive care among students.

With the valuable support of the Office of Student Affairs & Placement (OSAP) and collaboration with East West Medical College & Hospital, the program created an impactful platform for learning, discussion, and awareness building.

A heartfelt thanks to all respected doctors, guests, and participants for making this initiative meaningful and successful. Together, we move forward toward a healthier future. 💙

Alhamdulillah! Our Free Health Check-up Campaign was successfully completed 🩺💙

Organized under the banner of Celebrating World Health Day 2026, this initiative provided free medical consultation and basic health services to students, faculty, and staff—reflecting our commitment to building a healthier community.
The campaign included dental care, medicine specialists, basic diagnostic tests, with medical support from East West Medical College & Hospital and the EU Medical Team, including psychiatrists.
