Eden College Student’s Project Recognized on the International Stage!!
Secured a Spot in the Top 60 of the Xylem Innovation Challenge 2025 through the WaterWise App! 🔥
Dhaka, 20 July 2025:
Once again, young innovators from Bangladesh have made a mark on the international stage with their talent and creativity. Among thousands of global entries, the Bangladesh-developed project WaterWise has been selected as one of the Top 60 global teams in the Xylem Innovation Challenge 2025. In recognition of this achievement, the team has been awarded prize money and an international certificate.
WaterWise – A Smart Water Awareness App is a digital platform focused on awareness and assistance. It helps users reduce water wastage, ensure safe water access, and respond effectively during emergencies.
The core idea and leadership of the project came from Jolekha Akter Jinia, a student of Eden Mohila College.
Her mentor was Mr. Aript Gupta, a Design Engineer at Xylem Inc.

5. Guidance for Home Water Purification
6. Emergency Water Location Indicator
The project was successfully submitted on 20 July 2025 and earned recognition in this international competition organized by Xylem (USA) through the BeMyApp platform.
