হ্যালো বন্ধুরা!
আজ আমরা একটি খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Preposition শিখবো, যেটা ইংরেজি শেখার পথে অনেকের মনেই প্রশ্ন জাগায়— "Accident-এ মারা গেলে আমরা বলবো Die in নাকি Die by?"

চলো তাহলে জেনে নিই —
দুইটি preposition 'in' এবং 'by'–এর ব্যবহার একেবারেই আলাদা।
যখন কেউ কোনো দুর্ঘটনায় মারা যায়, তখন আমরা বলি:
✅ Die in an accident
এর অর্থ হলো, সেই ব্যক্তি একটি দুর্ঘটনার ভেতরে বা পরিণামে মারা গেছে।

উদাহরণ:

He died in a car accident.
(সে একটি গাড়ি দুর্ঘটনায় মারা গেছে।)

Several people died in the plane crash.
(অনেক মানুষ বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় মারা গেছে।)

তাহলে ‘die by’ কখন ব্যবহার করবো?
‘Die by’ সাধারণত কোনো উপায়, হাতিয়ার, বা কার্যপ্রণালী বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
যেমন:

He died by hanging.

She died by poison.
(মানে, ফাঁসিতে বা বিষপানে মারা গেছে।)

সংক্ষেপে মনে রাখো:

Accident = die in

Method (যেমন: poison, hanging, knife) = die by
