Deen Al Quran

This Saturday is Ashura (10 Muharram).

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Fasting Ashura, I hope Allah will expiate the sins of the past year.” (Muslim)

Ashura is a day when Allah saved Musa عليه السلام and the believers from Pharaoh.
A day the Prophet ﷺ fasted in gratitude.
A day of forgiveness, mercy, and reflection.

Fast the 9th and 10th (Friday + Saturday), or the 10th and 11th.
But if you can’t fast 2 days for whatever reason, try not to miss fasting Saturday at least.

Prepare your intention, plan your Dua’a, and invite someone else to fast with you.

Quran verse of the Day

In the name of Allah the most high and merciful

Quran: Al-i'Imran (3:26)

قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَٰلِكَ ٱلْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى ٱلْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُ بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Say, “O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty. You grant sovereignty to whom You will, and You strip sovereignty from whom you will. You honor whom you will, and You humiliate whom you will. In Your hand is all goodness. You are Capable of all things.”
