ক্যান্সারের সঙ্গে একসাথে লড়ছেন মা–বাবা: বিপর্যস্ত নোয়াখালী টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজের শিক্ষার্থী শুভ দাসের পরিবার

নোয়াখালী টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজের ১০ম ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থী শুভ দাসের পরিবার বর্তমানে জীবনের সবচেয়ে কঠিন সময় পার করছে। একের পর এক প্রাণঘাতী রোগে আক্রান্ত হয়ে তার মা ও বাবা চিকিৎসাধীন থাকায় পরিবারটি চরম আর্থিক ও মানসিক সংকটে পড়েছে।

জানা যায়, ২০২৪ সালে শুভ দাসের মা ব্রেস্ট ক্যান্সারে (NST Grade 2, carcinoma) আক্রান্ত হন। উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য গত আট মাস ধরে ভারতে চিকিৎসা নিতে গিয়ে প্রায় ১৪ লাখ টাকা ব্যয় হয়েছে। এই বিপুল অর্থ জোগাড় করতে পরিবারের সঞ্চয় শেষ হয়ে যায়, আত্মীয়-স্বজনের সহায়তা নিতে হয়, এমনকি ধার-দেনা ও জমি-জমা বিক্রি করতেও হয়েছে। দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে চিকিৎসার ধকল, মানসিক চাপ ও অনিশ্চয়তার মধ্যেও পরিবারটি আশা হারায়নি এবং লড়াই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছিল।

তবে এরই মধ্যে নতুন করে নেমে আসে আরেকটি দুঃসংবাদ। শুভ দাসের বাবা প্রোস্টেট ক্যান্সারে (Grade 4, Gleason Score 8) আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। তার চিকিৎসার জন্য আরও প্রায় ১০ লাখ টাকা প্রয়োজন, যা ইতোমধ্যে আর্থিকভাবে বিপর্যস্ত এই পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা অত্যন্ত কঠিন হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে।

একদিকে মায়ের চিকিৎসার ব্যয়, অন্যদিকে বাবার নতুন করে শুরু হওয়া ক্যান্সারের চিকিৎসা—সব মিলিয়ে পরিবারটি এখন দিশেহারা। তবুও শুভ দাস হাল ছাড়তে চান না। তিনি তার বাবা-মাকে সুস্থ করে তুলতে সবার সহযোগিতা কামনা করেছেন।

মানবিক দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে সমাজের বিত্তবান ও সহৃদয় ব্যক্তিদের এগিয়ে আসার আহ্বান জানানো হয়েছে। সবার সামান্য সহায়তাও এই পরিবারের জন্য বড় আশা হয়ে উঠতে পারে।

CNSC of PTEC এর উদ্যোগে ঈদ পুনর্মিলনী ও ১৫তম ব্যাচের বিদায় সংবর্ধনা অনুষ্ঠিত (𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐣 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐂 - 𝐂𝐍𝐒𝐂) এর উদ্যোগে ঈদ পুনর্মিলনী ও ১৫তম ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থীদের বিদায় সংবর্ধনা অনুষ্ঠান আনন্দঘন পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় ঈদের পরের দিন আয়োজিত এ মিলনমেলায় বিভিন্ন ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন এবং একে অপরের সাথে সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ সময় কাটান।
অনুষ্ঠানে সংগঠনের সম্মানিত Golden Members উপস্থিত থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিকনির্দেশনামূলক বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন। তাঁদের অভিজ্ঞতা ও পরামর্শ উপস্থিত শিক্ষার্থীদের ভবিষ্যৎ পথচলায় অনুপ্রেরণা যোগাবে বলে আশা প্রকাশ করা হয়।
এবারের আয়োজনের সার্বিক দায়িত্বে ছিল ১৬তম ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থীরা। তাঁদের প্রচেষ্টা ও আন্তরিকতায় অনুষ্ঠানটি সুন্দর ও সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়। আয়োজকরা আশা প্রকাশ করেন, ভবিষ্যতেও এই ভ্রাতৃত্ব, ঐক্য ও সৌহার্দ্যের বন্ধন অটুট থাকবে এবং এ ধরনের আয়োজন ধারাবাহিকভাবে চলমান থাকবে।
