The session will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Assistant Director of IT and Lead Faculty for MSIT at Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST), USA.

He will share practical insights on navigating the global job market, building a future-ready IT career, and pursuing higher education abroad.

🔰Certificate Course on Ethical Hacking - Enrollment Open 🚨

The Center for Cyber Security (CCS), Southeast University is launching its hands-on Certificate Course on Ethical Hacking starting 27 February 2026.

This 40-hour hands-on program is designed to develop practical skills in ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and pe*******on testing. Participants will gain real-world exposure to modern attack techniques and defensive strategies through supervised lab sessions conducted in a controlled and ethical environment. The course will be taught directly by experienced and industry-recognized cybersecurity instructors.

📚 Course Overview Includes: Reconnaissance, network scanning, enumeration, vulnerability analysis, system and web security, malware, social engineering, DoS, session hijacking, IDS and firewall evasion, wireless and mobile security, IoT and cloud security, SQL injection, and cryptography.

The Center for Cyber Security (CCS) successfully conducted the first round of the Qualifying Test for Student Membership - Spring 2026. Participants who have passed have already been notified via email.

The final phase (viva) will take place on 20 January 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The Center for Cyber Security (CCS), Southeast University, proudly hosted its first official meeting with the Summer 2025 Intake of CCS student members, marking an inspiring beginning for this initiative.

🌟 Our session was led by Dr. Md. Maruf Hassan, Director of CCS, who shared the core vision of CCS—highlighting upcoming activities, specialised courses, and the Knowledge Development Program. His talk set the direction for how CCS will guide and support students in their academic and professional growth.

🌟 We were also honoured to welcome Mr. Abir Mazumder, Founder & Managing Director of AM Square Limited, as guest speaker. He delivered valuable industry perspectives, motivating our students to prepare for the realities of the cyber security landscape.

🌟 In addition, Mr. Abid Ahmad, Coordinator of CCS, discussed career paths in cyber security and introduced the Problem-Solving Program, which will run under his supervision. Each student group has been assigned a mentor within this program, ensuring guided learning and hands-on expertise development.

The session concluded with the mentor allocation process, laying a strong foundation for collaboration, innovation, and leadership among our student members.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their enthusiastic engagement—this is only the beginning of what we aim to achieve together at CCS.

The Qualifying Test for prospective members of the Center for Cyber Security (CCS) at Southeast University was conducted on 12 August 2025 for the Summer 2025 Session, attracting registrations from more than 250 applicants. The examination was invigilated by distinguished faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The session was honored by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor of SEU, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, who visited the examination venue. The CCS has formally commenced its operations and will admit members each semester through a structured Qualifying Test to support and execute its planned activities.
