Placing children under Allaah's protection
The Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) used to commend al-Hasan and al-Husayn to Allaah's protection, saying:
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلتَّامَّةِ مِنۡ كُلِّ شَيطَانٍ وَّهَامَّةٍ وَمِنۡ كُلِّ عَينٍ لَامَّةٍ
I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye.
U'eethukumaa bikalimaatil-laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli 'aynin laammatin.
