​১. In (বড় স্থান / বেশি সময়): বড় স্থান বা দীর্ঘ সময়ের পূর্বে বসে।
​Example: Sami lived in Bangladesh at Chattagram.
​২. At (ছোট স্থান / অল্প সময়): নির্দিষ্ট ছোট স্থান, ঘড়ির সময় বা কোনো পয়েন্ট বোঝাতে বসে।
​Example: They arrived at the airport.
​৩. On (উপরে স্পর্শ করে থাকা): কোনো তলের ওপর স্পর্শ করে থাকলে বসে।

​৪. Over (উপরে না ছুঁয়ে থাকা / আচ্ছাদন): তলের উপরে কিন্তু সরাসরি স্পর্শ না করে থাকলে বসে।
