🎉 Congratulations to Mehedi Hasan Sakib 🎉

The Dhaka International University Moot Court Society (DIUMCS) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mehedi Hasan Sakib, Former President and Student Advisor of DIUMCS, on his remarkable academic achievement.

We are proud to announce that his abstract has been selected for presentation at the 1st Decolonizing Law and Criminology Conference in Bangladesh, which will be held on 2 August 2026 at Daffodil International University, Dhaka.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects his unwavering commitment to legal scholarship, critical research, and academic excellence. His achievement is an inspiration to the entire DIUMCS family and the wider legal community.

⚖️ Workshop Series | Day 3 Successfully Concluded.

The Day 3 Workshop of the 7th Dr. M. I. Patwary Intra Department Moot Court Competition 2026 was successfully held today.

We were privileged to have Nasir Ahmad sir , Associate Professor, Chairman, Department of Law, Dhaka International University & Advisor, DIUMCS, as our esteemed resource person.

The session, titled "Freedom of Expression in the Cyber World: Balancing Constitutional Guarantees and Limits," offered participants an insightful discussion on the constitutional dimensions of freedom of expression in the digital era. The workshop explored the delicate balance between safeguarding fundamental rights and addressing the legal limitations necessary to ensure public order, national security, and responsible online discourse.

DIUMCS extends its heartfelt gratitute to Nasir Ahmad sir for sharing his valuable knowledge and practical insights. We also thank all the participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm throughout the session.

The Dhaka International University Moot Court Society (DIUMCS) is delighted to announce the Day 3 session of the Workshop Series for the 7th Dr. M. I. Patwari Intra Department Moot Court Competition 2026.

We are honored to welcome Mr. Nasir Ahmad, Associate Professor, Chairman, Department of Law, Dhaka International University, and Advisor, DIUMCS, as the distinguished resource person for this session.

The first two sessions of the Workshop Series have been completed.

✨ Day 1 (5 July 2026):
Focused on Clarification of Facts & Facts Marshalling, where participants developed a clear understanding of the moot proposition and learned effective case analysis techniques. Day 1 was jointly conducted by Mehedi Hasan Shakib & Sanjida Fami.

✨ Day 2 (7 July 2026):
Covered Memorial Writing, Legal Research, Oral Advocacy, and Competition Rules & Regulations, equipping participants with the essential skills required for a successful moot court journey.

We sincerely thank our respected speakers, mentors, and all enthusiastic participants for making these sessions engaging and impactful.

Stay tuned for Day 3, where we will explore the Constitution of Bangladesh and continue this exciting learning journey together.
