Students Turning Python into Real-World Finance Solutions!

On 15th August, 2026, the students of the Finance and Banking, Batch 2A presented their projects and posters on Python-based real-life financial and business solutions—an outcome of their practical learning from the Python course conducted by Lecturer Jul Jalal Al-Mamur Sayor. Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Dean, Academic Affairs, and Dr. Md. Anhar Sharif Mollah , Associate Professor & Head, Department of Finance & Banking were also present there as guests.

These projects demonstrate how students can apply programming skills to solve real-world problems in finance and business. Such hands-on learning experiences will help our students develop the technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and practical skills needed to become competent professionals in the growing FinTech industry.

On 10 August 2026, the students of Section 3B (Summer 2026) from the Department of Finance & Banking visited Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC for an insightful industry exposure.

The visit gave students a valuable opportunity to observe real-world corporate and manufacturing operations and connect their academic knowledge with practical business practices. It was a day filled with learning, exploration, interaction, and memorable experiences.

✨ A Day of Learning, Inspiration & Celebration!

The Department of Finance & Banking, Daffodil International University, successfully organized an inspiring seminar titled "FinTech and the Future Job Market for Finance Graduates", followed by the Freshers Reception – Summer 2026 on 14 July 2026 at the International Conference Hall, Knowledge Tower.

The seminar featured insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of financial technology and the career opportunities awaiting future finance professionals.
