Figures of Speech ✅ ১ মার্ক কমন

1. Simile - "He runs like a cheetah." (comparing two things using 'like' or 'as')

2. Metaphor - "He is a lion on the field." (comparing two things without 'like' or 'as')

3. Alliteration - "Sally sells seashells by the seashore." (repeating initial consonant sounds)

4. Hyperbole - "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse." (exaggerating for emphasis)

5. Personification - "The sun smiled down on us." (giving human qualities to non-human things)

6. Onomatopoeia - "The fire went boom." (words imitating sounds)
