“What should you do when you are happy?"
Pray to Allah.
Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was gladdened by something or given good news, he would fall in prostration, thanking Allah. And when he saw something he liked, he would say: ‘Praise be to Allah, by whose favor good deeds are completed.


ماذا تفعل عند الفرح؟
صل الله
كان رسول الله - - إذا أتاه أَمرُ سُرور أو بشر به خَرَّ ساجدًا شاكرا لله. وكان إذا رأى ما يحب، قال: الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات.

If you do not forgive in matters, they will become complicated for you … so forgive, and let hardship be eased with ease.
I have never seen anything more faithful in times of trial than piety, nor anything more healing for disliked matters than patience.


إذا لم تسامحْ في الأمور تعقَّدت عليك ... فسامحْ وأخرج العسر باليسر.
فلم أرَ أوفى للبلاء من التقى ... ولم أرَ للمكروه أشفى من الصبر.

Much of love carries a psychological flaw that can reach the point of dedicating certain acts of worship to the beloved (loving them as one loves Allah), and it is not merely infatuation, madness, or a lapse of reason.


كثير من العشق ينطوي على خلل عقدي يصل إلى صرف أنواع من العبادة للمعشوق، (يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ)، وليس مجرد هيام وجنون وغياب للعقل.

Whenever a servant turns his heart sincerely to Allah, Allah turns the hearts of the believers toward him, until He provides him with their love and mercy.

"ما أقبل عبدٌ بقلبه إلى الله عز وجل؛ إلا أقبل الله بقلوب أهل الإيمان إليه، حتى يرزقه مودتهم ورحمتهم".

The eagerness for popularity and fame is a great danger that contradicts sincerity. However, it comes to the sincere ones without them seeking it.

As in the words of Allah: ‘And grant me a reputation of truth among later generations.’ (Ash-Shu‘ara: 84)



الحرص على الشعبية والجماهيرية مزلق عظيم ينافي الإخلاص، لكنها تحصل للمخلصين بغير سعي منهم؛ (وَاجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الآخِرِينَ).

The one who loves prostration and prolongs it is hoped to be included among the seven whom Allah will shade under His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His.

This is because it is one of the meanings of the Prophet’s ﷺ statement: ‘And a man whose heart is attached to the mosques.


الذي يحب السجود والإطالة فيه يُرجى له أن يدخل في حديث السبعة الذين يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله؛
لأنه أحد معاني قوله عليه الصلاة والسلام: «ورجل قلبه مُعلّق بالمساجد».

“Be content with what Allah has decreed for you!”
Worries, struggles, and sleeplessness may even lead to psychological illnesses and su***de. The cure is: If you are content with what Allah has allotted for you, you will be the richest of people.

This was narrated by al-Tirmidhi (Hadith no. 2305), and al-Albani graded it Hasan.

Amazing! A person strives toward poverty while he is capable of being rich.

ارْضَ بما قسم الله لك!
تفكير، وتعب، وأرق،
قد يصل إلى أمراض نفسية وانتحار، وعلاجه
ارض بما قسم الله لك تكن أغنى الناس).
رواه الترمذي (2305)، وحسنه الألباني
عجبا لمن يسعى إلى الفقر وهو قادر على الغنى

There is a big difference between a man whose wife or daughter comes to him crying and complaining, and he comforts her and cheers her up, perhaps even taking her out for an outing to relieve her distress, and a man to whom someone comes crying and complaining,
and he says: “What can I do?” or “It’s too early in the morning!”

“The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family.”
[Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, authenticated by Al-Albani]

‏فرق كبير بين من تأتيه امرأته أو ابنته شاكية باكية، فيطيب خاطرها ويسري عنها، وربما أخذها في نزهة ينسيها همها، وبين من تأتيه شاكية باكية،
فيقول: ماذا أفعل؟ ‏أو يقول: الصباح الصباح! ‏

«خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي». ‏[رواه الترمذي، وصححه الألباني]

A believer is a part of his fellow believer;
he fulfills his need, supports him in his illness, rejoices at his joy, and grieves at his sorrow.
He is like a mirror to his brother—if he sees in him something he dislikes, he rectifies it, corrects him, and guides him.


المؤمن شعبة من المؤمن؛
إن به حاجته، إن به عِلّته، يفرح لفرحه، ويحزن لحزنه، وهو مرآة أخيه،
إن رأى منه ما لا يعجبه؛ سدّده، وقوّمه، ووجّهه.

Competitions of gluttony and eating the largest amount of food in the shortest time reflect lack of intelligence, weakness in religion, lack of health awareness, and an exposure of oneself to harm.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“No human fills a vessel worse than his stomach. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his back straight. But if he must [eat more], then a third for his food, a third for his drink, and a third for his breath.” [Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, authenticated by al-Albani]

Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It was said to Samura (may Allah be pleased with him): “Your son did not sleep last night.” He asked: “Because of overeating (indigestion)?” They replied: “Yes, indigestion.” He said: “If he had died, I would not have prayed over him.” [Narrated by Ahmad in Az-Zuhd]


تحديات الشراهة وأكل أكبر كمية من الطعام في أقصر وقت: قلة عقل، وقلة دين، وقلة ثقافة صحية، وتعريض للنفس للأذى.

وقد قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مَا مَلَأَ آدَمِيٌّ وِعَاءً شَرًّا مِنْ بَطْنٍ، بِحَسْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ أُكُلَاتٌ يُقِمْنَ صُلْبَهُ، فَإِنْ كَانَ لَا مَحَالَةَ، فَثُلُثٌ لِطَعَامِهِ، وَثُلُثٌ لِشَرَابِهِ، وَثُلُثٌ لِنَفَسِهِ» [رواه الترمذي وابن ماجه، وصححه الألباني].

وعن الحسن رحمه الله قال: قيل لسمرة رضي الله عنه: إن ابنك لم ينم الليلة، قال: أبشمًا [يعني: تخمة]؟ قيل: بشمًا، قال: لو مات لم أصل عليه. [رواه أحمد في الزهد]

"Allah has made the sanctuary of the house (the Ka‘bah) sacred and spacious, and He has made it a place of security for the people.

He has extended that security so that even the animals living within its precincts are included in its protection."
