Standing Together Against Bullying

On 12 August 2026, Lighthouse International School Gulshan Campus conducted an engaging Anti-Bullying Awareness Session to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to stand against bullying.

Our students delivered thoughtful presentations and participated in meaningful role plays based on different real-life situations, helping everyone understand how to recognise bullying, respond appropriately, and support others.

The session also focused on cyberbullying, responsible social media engagement, and online safety. Students learned the importance of not entertaining or encouraging bullying, whether at school or outside, and the need to immediately inform a trusted adult when they face or witness such situations.

A powerful session reminding us that every student deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

✨Pre-Hifz Placement Assessment | LIS, Lalmatia Branch
Alhamdulillah! Our Early Years learners who have expressed interest in joining the Pre-Hifz Programme at Lighthouse International School (LIS), Lalmatia Branch, have participated in the “Pre-Hifz Placement Assessment”.
Every child learns at a different pace. Through this assessment, we aim to identify their strengths, areas for growth, and individual learning needs, allowing us to place them at an appropriate level and provide focused support. This helps make their Hifz journey more meaningful, confident, and productive.
We believe that understanding where a child stands is the first step towards helping them move forward—with love, patience, and purposeful guidance.
May Allah bless our young learners with the knowledge of the Qur’an and beneficial knowledge of this world and the Hereafter, strengthen their character and faith, and guide them to grow as responsible citizens and practicing Muslims. Ameen.

A Meaningful Beginning to Academic Session 2026-2027

Alhamdulillah, we successfully conducted the very first Teachers’ Orientation Day of the new academic session at Lighthouse International School.

We were truly honored to have our respected Managing Director, Dr. Rezwana Afrose Shorony, with us. Her inspiring words encouraged us to begin the new session with renewed purpose, unity, and excellence.

The day was filled with reflection and celebration as we recognized our achievements, applauded our record-breaking admissions, and reaffirmed our commitment to consistency, quality, and continuous growth. Together, we set our goals for the new academic year with confidence and determination.

The celebration continued over a wonderful lunch, followed by a delightful visit to Akij Bakers, one of our valued sister concerns. It was a memorable experience that strengthened our bond as one team.

In Memory of Our Beloved Simia Miss
