The Master of Professional Banking (MPB) Program, Department of Banking and Insurance, University of Dhaka, in collaboration with the Bankers Club of Bangladesh Limited, successfully organized a two-day intensive workshop titled “Bancassurance for Bankers” on 10–11 July 2026 at the Professor Dr. Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
The workshop brought together distinguished academicians, banking and insurance professionals, industry experts, and enthusiastic participants for an engaging exchange of knowledge and practical insights. The sessions covered the regulatory landscape of bancassurance in Bangladesh, partnership models, product suitability, operational and technological readiness, compliance and consumer protection, sales-force development, and sustainable business growth.
Interactive discussions, practical case studies, group activities, and presentations provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of how banks and insurance companies can establish compliant, customer-focused, and sustainable bancassurance operations.
