This strategic collaboration represents a significant step toward bridging the gap between academic learning and professional excellence. Through this partnership, AIS-JnU students will gain enhanced opportunities, including course exemptions and an accelerated pathway toward achieving the prestigious Chartered Secretary qualification.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Honorable Treasurer of Jagannath University, Professor Dr. Sabina Sharmin; Dean of Faculty of Business Studies, Professor Dr. Md. A proud and historic moment for 𝐉𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 as the university organized the Dean’s Award Ceremony for the very first time, recognizing the academic excellence and outstanding achievements of the top-performing students from the 12th to 15th batches.

The ceremony was graced by Honorable Education Minister 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐍𝐌 𝐄𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐏, as the Chief Guest. The event was also honored by the presence of 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐏, as Special Guest and 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞, Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education.

Walking through its historic halls brought history to life, but what made the day truly special was the spirit of unity. It was a day of shared curiosity, deeper connections, and beautiful memories that have brought our AIS family even closer together. 💙

Students of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, Jagannath University got the opportunity to attend the Pre-Budget Discussion Program organized by Women Entrepreneurs 'Association, Bangladesh - WEA

📍The program focused on women entrepreneurship, SME development, inclusive economic growth, and policy recommendations for the National Budget FY 2026–27.

Through this participation, Jagannath University AIS students got the opportunity to experience real-world economic and policy discussions beyond the classroom. The platform allowed students to gain practical insights into entrepreneurship, budgeting, taxation, SME development, and financial inclusion while connecting academic learning with real-life professional exposure. Students were invited as aspiring professionals in the fields of accounting, finance, and business, highlighting the importance of youth engagement in national economic dialogue.

We were honored to have Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC, as the Chief Guest of the program, alongside other distinguished speakers and panelists who shared valuable insights and experiences. ✨

The visit to The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh-ICMAB gave our freshers’ a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the professional side of accounting and management studies. From classroom concepts to real career paths, the experience helped students understand the importance of professionalism, leadership, and continuous learning in the corporate world.
