: Duties of a Student
Student life is the golden period of human life. It is the time for preparation for the future. Therefore, a student has many important duties to perform.
The first and foremost duty of a student is to study regularly. A student should attend classes every day and listen to the teachers carefully. Doing homework on time is also very important. The main goal of a student is to acquire knowledge and make good results in examinations.
Besides studying, a student must take care of their health. A sound mind lives in a sound body. So, a student should take part in sports and games and do physical exercise regularly.
Another important duty is to build a good character. A student must be disciplined, honest, and truthful. They should respect their teachers, parents, and elders. They should also love their classmates and younger ones. Good manners make a student perfect.
A student also has some duties toward society. They should help people during natural disasters like floods or cyclones. They can teach illiterate people how to read and write.

My Aim in Life (জীবনের লক্ষ্য)

​Every human being should have a specific aim in life. A life without an aim is like a ship without a rudder (পাল বা হালহীন জাহাজ). It cannot reach its destination. A proper aim helps a person to succeed in life.

​My aim in life is to become a doctor. It is a very noble profession. There are many poor people in our country, especially in the villages. They do not get proper medical treatment due to poverty. Many people die every year without medicine. This situation touches my heart deeply. So, I want to serve these helpless people.

​To fulfill my dream, I am studying hard. I have taken the science group. After passing the SSC and HSC examinations, I will try to get admission into a good medical college. After completing my MBBS degree, I will go back to my village.

​I will set up a clinic in my village. I will treat the poor people free of cost. My main goal will not be to earn money, but to serve suffering humanity. I want to bring smiles to the faces of the poor villagers.

​My parents are very happy with my choice. They always encourage me to study well. I pray to Almighty Allah to help me fulfill my aim in life so that I can serve my nation.

Mother Language Day: (150 words)

International Mother Language Day is a very important day for the people of Bangladesh. It is observed on 21 February every year. On this day, we remember the language martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Bangla in 1952. The students of Dhaka University and many other people joined the Language Movement. They demanded Bangla as a state language of Pakistan. The police opened fire on the protesters. Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar and many others were killed. Their sacrifice can never be forgotten. After many struggles, Bangla was recognized as a state language. Now this day is celebrated all over the world as International Mother Language Day. People go to the Shaheed Minar with flowers and show respect to the martyrs. Different cultural programs are also arranged on this occasion. This day teaches us to love and respect our mother language. We feel proud of our language and culture.

Form of verbs:

Rule 1: সকল Preposition এর পর V+ing হয় এবং “to” এর পর verb base form/ v1 হয়।

Rule 2: “with a view to / look forward to / get used to / devoted to / addicted to / prefer to” + এর পর V1-ing হয়।

Rule 3: Since/For + time → Present Perfect Continuous

Rule 4: Simple sentence এ 2টি verb verb থাকলে শেষের → V1-ing (see, hear, find, watch etc.)

Rule 5: Sentence এ দুটি verb থাকলে, এবং উদ্দেশ্য(Purpose) বোঝালে “to + base form/ v1 হয়।
