Surah At-Tin | Mishary Rashid Al-Afasy | English Translation
Surah At-Tin (The Fig) is the 95th chapter of the Holy Al-Qur'an. It has 8 ayahs or verses. It is a Makki surah. It is named after the fig which has been mentioned in the first verse.
In this surah Allah SWT swears by mentioning various symbols like fig, olive, Mount Sinai and the secure city of Mecca. Then Allah SWT has stated that He created humans in the best form and reduced them to the lowest state if they stray from the righteous path. This surah ends by affirming ultimate judgment and mercy of Allah SWT, reminding humanity of the importance of faith and good deeds to attain success in the hereafter.
