Junior Competitive Programming Contest - JCPC : A Celebration of Young Coding Talent!

The Junior Competitive Programming Contest (JCPC) 2024, organized by Daffodil International University (DIU), concluded successfully, bringing together 94 young coding enthusiasts from across Bangladesh. This contest is a significant part of the ICPC 2024 program, designed to inspire and nurture the next generation of young tech innovators.

The inauguration ceremony was honored by DIU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbubul Haque Majumder, while Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, the Chief Judge, delivered motivational remarks to the participants, emphasizing the values of perseverance, creativity, and problem-solving. The event's Convener, Sharmin Akter, and Co-Convener, Tanzina Afroz Rimi, led the organizing efforts alongside the haradworking JCPC organizing team, ensuring the smooth conduct of the contest.

The closing ceremony was graced by DIU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbubul Haque Majumder as the Chief Guest, who emphasized the importance of programming and innovation for the younger generation. Special guests Professor Dr.Mohammad Kaykobad, a renowned academician, and Golam Rabbani from BCC (Bangladesh Computer Council), along with other distinguished attendees, also participated in the closing ceremony. Their presence brought added significance to the event as they lauded the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to continue exploring opportunities in technology and innovation.

Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, RCD, and Mr. Saiful Islam, Deputy RCD of ICPC 2024, were present at the closing ceremony. Their support was instrumental in making the JCPC 2024 a success.

A special thanks to the judges for their invaluable contribution and efforts in making the competition successful.

After a day filled with exciting problem-solving, coding challenges, and learning, the winners of JCPC 2024 were announced:

🏆 Champion: Tajwar Aman Khan, South Breeze School

🥈 First Runner-Up: Faizeen Hoque, Daffodil International School, Dhanmondi

🥉 Second Runner-Up: Shahir Kudrat Rafan, Daffodil University School and College

The event concluded with a vibrant and inspiring closing ceremony that celebrated the achievements of these young winners while encouraging all participants to continue exploring technology and coding opportunities.

The JCPC 2024, as a key part of ICPC 2024, successfully brought together young students, educators, and technology enthusiasts on one platform, fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving at an early age.
