It has been one year since we had our last class of college life…
And yet, so much has changed in just this one year!
The people I once shared the same classroom with are now running toward completely different ambitions.
For many of them, the last time I saw them was on that very last day of class… and maybe, in this lifetime, we will never meet again.

I already miss those days in Room 131 of Ganguly Bhaban.
Some of us might reach the top , and some might get lost forever in the journey of life… who knows?!!

Lastly,

"আবার আসিব ফিরে নটরডেমের পথে —
এই চত্বরেই — হয়তো ছাত্র নয় — হয়তো বাতাস হয়ে
চুপচাপ গাছের পাতায় নেমে আসা আলো হয়ে,
হয়তো ক্লাসরুমে চুপচাপ কারো বইয়ের পৃষ্ঠায়—
নটরডেম কলেজের আঙিনায় ঘুরে বেড়াবো আবার।

সেদিন হয়তো থাকবো না চেনা নামে, চেনা মুখে —
তবু ক্যান্টিনের ভীড়ে, কিংবা মাঠের ধুলোয় —
আমাদের স্মৃতিরা হাঁটবে চুপচাপ, নিঃশব্দে —
আবার আসিব ফিরে, এই সবুজ নিরবতায় —
নটরডেমের বিকেল যখন হারিয়ে যাবে রোদে।"

দু'বছর আগেই ১২ই নভেম্বরের কথা এখনো মনে পড়ে।কারণটা ছিলো প্রথম কুইজ।

ধীরে ধীরে বছর ঘুরে অনেকেরই উত্তম-মধ্যমের পালা আসলো, রমজান গেল, ঈদ গেল, হাসিনাও দেশছাড়া হলো; কিন্তু প্রতি সপ্তাহে দুইটা করে কুইজ যেন জীবন-
ধারণের এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হয়ে উঠেছিলো।
ফার্স্ট ইয়ার শেষে আমরাও সেকেন্ড ইয়ারে উঠলাম, সেকেন্ড ইয়ারে উঠেই ধাক্কা খেলাম স্যারদের সিলেবাস শেষ করার স্পিড দেখে...অভাবনীয়...। রীতিমতো বেসামাল পরিবেশ। কিন্তু তারপরও কুইজ আমাদের অন্ধের যষ্টি।
হঠাৎই একদিন নোটিশবোর্ডে লাস্ট রাউন্ড কুইজের রুটিনটা সেঁটে গেল। সবার চোখেমুখে আনন্দের আলোকচ্ছটা দেখা গেলেও একটা জোরালো সুপ্ত অনুভূতি সেদিন প্রকাশ পায়নি।
যাইহোক...২৮ শে নভেম্বর একষট্টিতম বারের মতো কুইজ-যাত্রার ইতি টানা হলো...কোনো আড়ম্বরতা কারো নজর কাড়েনি...শুধু ছিলো সবার মিশ্র প্রতিক্রিয়া।
আমাদের জন্য বৃহস্পতিবার রাত ছিলো ঈদের আগের রাতের মতো...সপ্তাহের সমস্ত হিসাব-নিকাশ শেষে একটা শান্তির ঘুম... যাস্ট স্পেল বাউন্ড একটা অনুভূতি। এ অনুভূতির দেখা পাওয়া আদৌ আর হবে কী না...জানা নাই।
এইতো ২৭ শে নভেম্বর কাগজে-কলমে আমাদের ল্যাব শেষ হলো...আমাদের জন্য বরাদ্দকৃত সেই কম্পিউটারে আর গেইম (Chess) খেলা হবে না। বায়োলজিতে স্যার / ম্যাম রোল বলে ডাকলে আর হাত উঁচু করার সৌভাগ্যও হবে না...ফিজিক্স, কেমিস্ট্রিতে মেকআপ আর ম্যাথের গ্রাফে রিপিট... কোনোটাই আর হবে না।
সেকেন্ড পিরিয়ড শেষে সিঙ্গারার জন্য ক্যান্টিনে দৌড়ানো; রেসেসের ১৫ মিনিটে একটা ফুটবল, কয়েকজন গোলকিপার, শ’খানেক স্ট্রাইকার আর ডিফেন্ডার নিয়ে গোল করার যে একটা ব্যাপারটা না!

এখন আর ব্যাক-ক্যালকুলেশান করতে হবে না এই দিনগুলোর গ্রাফ মেলানোর জন্য...!!!

দুটো রিক্সা এক্সিডেন্ট করলে কেউ মারা যায়না, কিন্তু দুটো উড়োজাহাজ এক্সিডেন্ট করলে কেউ বাঁচে না, তেমনি কম শিক্ষিত খারাপ মানুষ সমাজের কোনো ক্ষতি সাধন করতে পারবেনা, কিন্তু উচ্চশিক্ষিত খারাপ মানুষ চাইলে সব ধ্বংস করে দিতে পারে।

ছাত্ররা,পড়াশোনা কম করো সমস্যা নেই।কিন্তু এমনভাবে মানুষ হও যাতে তোমার শত্রুও তোমার দিকে আঙ্গুল তুলতে না পারে।

From the end of college break to the start of college...

Starting in 2023, one of the most significant parts of college life, especially for us "Nodchians," has been filled with countless hassles, back-calculations, make-ups, and a mix of fair and rough work—those memory-filled lab classes. Perhaps there will be no more lab sessions now. No more fear of physics make-ups, no more silence of chemistry, no more biology dissections, and no more remembering submission deadlines for ICT. It all started just the other day, didn't it? And in the blink of an eye, it’s over... College life is at its final chapter. No more worrying about lab attendance, and no more opportunities to sit through another lab class, even if we wanted to.

We can never forget these lab memories… It’s impossible. Because memories are born where rigor and laughter coexist side by side.
