Our students recently participated in a Gardening Session in collaboration with students from Sir John Wilson School.

During the session, they learned the basics of gardening, including plant care, soil preparation, and the importance of nurturing nature. The activities were hands-on, allowing students to directly engage with the learning process.

This session is part of a structured, step-by-step learning journey aimed at building practical skills, responsibility, and environmental awareness among students.

Through a beautiful Pen Friend initiative, students from It's Humanity Foundation - IHF and International School Dhaka (ISD) connected through words, ideas, and shared experiences.

Led by ISD students, the session brought learning to life, from peer book reading and group reading to fun moments with block games and chess.

For our students, this was more than just a session. It was a chance to explore, express, and learn in ways that truly matter.

Sometimes, the smallest exchanges create the biggest impact.

As part of Project Ankur 2026, students from Sir John Wilson School continue to lead engaging ICT classes for learners at IHF School, Panchkhola Campus.

Through interactive sessions, Grade 4 students are building their understanding of:
• The IPO Cycle, how computers work
• Different types of software
• Introduction to Microsoft Office
• Practical learning with Microsoft Word

Appreciation to the young changemakers who are making a meaningful difference through education.

বর্তমানে হাম একটি মহামারির আকারে ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে, যা শিশুদের পাশাপাশি সকল বয়সের মানুষকেই ঝুঁকির মধ্যে ফেলছে। হাম একটি অত্যন্ত সংক্রামক রোগ, যা নিউমোনিয়া, এনসেফালাইটিস এবং মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত ঝুঁকি বাড়াতে পারে।

সঠিক টিকাদানই একমাত্র কার্যকর প্রতিরোধ। শিশুদের ৯-১২ মাসে প্রথম এবং ১২-১৫ মাসে দ্বিতীয় ডোজ MMR টিকা নিশ্চিত করুন। এছাড়াও, যাদের টিকা নেই বা সংশয়ে আছেন, তারা দ্রুত ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নিন।

আমরা সবাই মিলে এই মহামারিকে প্রতিরোধ করতে পারি, শুধু সচেতনতাই পারে আমাদের এবং আমাদের ভবিষ্যতকে সুরক্ষিত রাখতে।

Under the guidance of Ankur, students from Sir John Wilson School are conducting engaging ICT classes for learners at IHF School, Panchkhola Campus as part of the 2026 initiative.

Through a series of interactive sessions, Grade 4 students are exploring the fundamentals of technology, including:
• The IPO Cycle — understanding how computers work
• Different types of software
• Introduction to Microsoft Office
• Hands-on learning with Microsoft Word

These sessions are not just about learning computers, they are about building confidence, curiosity, and essential digital skills for the future.

আজ বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা দিবস — আমাদের আত্মপরিচয়, সাহস, ত্যাগ আর অদম্য জয়ের প্রতীক।

১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে শুরু হয়েছিল এমন এক সংগ্রাম, যেখানে বাঙালি প্রমাণ করেছিল— ন্যায়ের জন্য, মর্যাদার জন্য, স্বাধীনতার জন্য একটি জাতি কতটা অদম্য হতে পারে।

এই দিনে শ্রদ্ধাভরে স্মরণ করি মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধে আত্মোৎসর্গকারী সকল বীর শহীদকে। তাদের ত্যাগের বিনিময়েই আমরা পেয়েছি একটি স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ।

আজ বিজয়ের দিন।
লাল-সবুজের পতাকার গৌরবময় ইতিহাসে লেখা এক অবিস্মরণীয় অধ্যায়। দীর্ঘ নয় মাসের ত্যাগ, সংগ্রাম ও আত্মবিসর্জনের বিনিময়ে বাঙালি পেয়েছিল একটি স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ।

এই বিজয় আমাদের শিখিয়েছে মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াতে, ন্যায়ের পক্ষে কথা বলতে এবং মানবতার জন্য কাজ করতে।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি - বিজয়ের চেতনা মানে কেবল একটি দিন নয়, বরং মানবতা, ন্যায় ও সমতার পথে প্রতিদিন এগিয়ে চলা।

On this World Mental Health Day, we are reminded of the importance of supporting emotional well-being, especially for children in vulnerable communities.

Through Project Ankur, a Child Welfare Initiative by It’s Humanity Foundation, we work to nurture young minds and strengthen emotional resilience among students in marginalized areas. Ankur focuses on improving mental health and basic skills development, ensuring that every child gets the care and environment they need to grow and thrive.

To make this possible, we regularly conduct:
✅ Mental health well-being sessions & activities with students
✅ Teacher training on child mental health and classroom support
✅ Parent awareness campaigns promoting empathy and understanding

Today and every day, let’s work together to create a world where mental health is valued, protected, and accessible for all, starting with our children.
