আজ ২৯ ডিসেম্বর ২০২০, সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির সিটি ক্যাম্পাস পান্থপথে মোবাইল অপারেটর কোম্পানী রবি আজিয়াটা ও সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির মধ্যে একটি চুক্তিপত্র স্বাক্ষরিত হয়। রবি এর পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মোঃ আদিল হোসেন (নোবেল) , চীফ এন্টারপ্রাইজ বিজনেস অফিসার এবং মোহাম্মদ জুলফিকার হায়দার চৌধুরী, জেনারেল ম্যানেজার, এন্টারপ্রাইজ বিজনেস সহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাগণ এবং সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির মাননীয় ভিসি প্রফেসর ড. মোঃ শাহ্-ই-আলম, প্রো-ভিসি সহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

আজ ২৭ ডিসেম্বর ২০২০, সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির সিটি ক্যম্পাস পান্থপথে গ্রামীণফোন ও সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির মধ্যে একটি চুক্তিপত্র স্বাক্ষরিত হয়। সে সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটির মাননীয় ভিসি প্রফেসর ড. মোঃ শাহ্-ই-আলম এবং প্রো-ভিসি প্রফেসর মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান সহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাগণ। গ্রামীণফোন এর পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ডিরেক্টর অব বিজনেস সাব্বির হোসেন এবং হেড অব বিজনেস গভর্নেন্স এন্ড ইন্টারনাল কমপ্লাইন্স মোঃ সিরাজ উদ্দিন লস্কর সহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাগণ । এই চুক্তির মধ্যদিয়ে সিটি ইউনিভার্সিটি কম খরচে শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের ইন্টারনেট সেবা নিশ্চিত করতে সক্ষম হল। যার ফলে স্বল্প খরচে ভার্চুয়াল ক্লাসে উপস্থিত হয়ে নিরবিচ্ছিন্নভাবে ক্লাস করতে সক্ষম হবে সিটি ইউনিভারসিটির শিক্ষার্থীরা।

University Grant Commission (UGC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grameenphone in an effort to facilitate the online classes in different public and private universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the MoU, the Grameenphone will provide internet data packages at low cost to the students and faculty members of different private and public universities across the country. The initiative has been taken in an effort to empower them with possibilities of online education conveniently during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Grameenphone has already offered customized internet data packages online education packs at an affordable price to City University students and faculty members are as follows.
