As we step into a new year, the AK School & College Science Club wants to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stood by us this year.

This year wasn’t perfect. We had our highs that made us proud, and our lows that tested us, but through every up and down, your support never faded. Your encouragement, trust, and belief in us kept us going when things felt difficult and pushed us to do better when we succeeded.

We’ve learned, we’ve grown, and we’ve become stronger because of this journey, and because of you. As we move into the new year, we promise to work harder, aim higher, and make the Club better than ever before.

একজন কণ্ঠ থেমে গিয়েছেন, কিন্তু যে চেতনা সে জাগিয়ে রেখে গিয়েছেন তা থামার নয়। অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আপসহীন যে মানুষটি নির্ভীকভাবে কথা বলেছিলেন, সত্যের পক্ষে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, আজ সে আমাদের মাঝে নেই। মঞ্চে দাঁড়িয়ে তার উচ্চারণ আমাদের সাহস দিয়েছে, প্রশ্ন করতে শিখিয়েছে, মাথা উঁচু করে বাঁচতে শিখিয়েছে।

“জান দেবো, কিন্তু জুলাই দেবো না” - এই উচ্চারণ শুধু স্লোগান ছিল না, ছিল এক অটল অঙ্গীকার। সেই অঙ্গীকারের মূল্য তিনি দিয়েছেন নিজের জীবন দিয়ে।

মানুষ চলে যায়, কিন্তু তার রেখে যাওয়া কণ্ঠ, আদর্শ আর প্রতিবাদ প্রজন্ম থেকে প্রজন্মে ছাপ রেখে যায়। ফ্যাসিবাদ ও অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে সংগ্রামে তিনি থাকবেন প্রেরণার বাতিঘর হয়ে।

১৬ই ডিসেম্বর একটি তারিখ নয়, এটি আমাদের অস্তিত্ব, আত্মমর্যাদা ও স্বাধীন সত্তার চিরন্তন ঘোষণা। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে বাংলার আকাশে উড়েছিল বিজয়ের পতাকা, জন্ম নিয়েছিল একটি স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ।

এই মহান অর্জনের পেছনে রয়েছে বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের অসীম সাহস, ত্যাগ ও আত্মনিবেদন। তাদের অদম্য মনোবল আর দেশপ্রেম আমাদের শিখিয়েছে অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াতে, ন্যায়ের পথে অবিচল থাকতে। আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধায় স্মরণ করি সেই সকল শহীদ ও বীর সন্তানদের, যাদের আত্মত্যাগ ছাড়া এই স্বাধীনতা কখনোই সম্ভব হতো না।

বিজয়ের এই দিনে আমাদের অঙ্গীকার একটি ন্যায়ভিত্তিক, দায়িত্বশীল ও প্রগতিশীল বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তোলা। ইতিহাসের চেতনায় অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে আমরা আগামীর পথে এগিয়ে যাব, দেশ ও জাতির কল্যাণে নিজেদের সর্বোচ্চ দায়িত্ব পালন করব।
