DIU CPC - Daffodil International University Computer and Programming Club

𝗖𝗥 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗜𝗨 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯

On 17-19 May 2026, the DIU CPC held a successful meeting at the Knowledge Tower with all the class representatives of CSE batches 68, 70 and 71 present. The session was dedicated to improving communication and discussing academic issues between teachers, students and the department. At the same time, other ideas and initiatives to involve students more meaningfully and creatively were also shared and discussed.

The goal of this initiative is to make a closer relationship between the department and students so that collaboration is easier, more effective and student friendly.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗜𝗨 𝗖𝗣𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

We are pleased to introduce the Advisor Panel and Student Panel of the Committee 2026. The committee is inheriting something built with years of hard work, late-night effort and real love for this community. Honor it, add to it and make it yours. The members of DIU CPC are watching, believing and rooting for you every step of the way.

Every journey reaches a beautiful ending and today we proudly celebrate the individuals who made 2025 an unforgettable chapter of DIU CPC. From exciting contests and engaging workshops to seminars, collaborative events and countless behind-the-scenes efforts, every achievement carried your hard work and determination. The sleepless nights, endless planning, last-minute problem solving and commitment to excellence never went unnoticed. Through your leadership and teamwork, you gave many students a place to learn, grow and believe in themselves.

As this chapter comes to a close, we say farewell with deep respect and gratitude. The legacy of Committee 2025 will always remain a meaningful part of our journey and a source of inspiration for the committees yet to come.

DIU Take-Off Programming Contest, Spring 2026 – Preliminary Round

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, successfully organized the DIU Take-Off Programming Contest, Spring 2026 Preliminary Round, hosted by DIU CPC at DSC on April 12, 2026. In two slots, students from the first and second semesters of FSIT participated in the contest.

We were honored to have several respected guests and alumni attend the event. Our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori Sir (Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. S. M. Aminul Haque Sir (Professor and Associate Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. Arif Mahmud Sir (Associate Professor and Associate Head, Dept. of CSE), Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE and Convenor of DIU CPC), Mehadi Hasan (Lecturer, Dept. of CSE and Advisor, ACM Wing of DIU CPC) along with other respected advisors, faculty members, committee members, staff, and dedicated volunteers.

Successfully completed the Seminar on K-Star Visa – Destination Korea organized by DIU CPC, in collaboration with the Department of CSE and Admission.ac on April 20, 2026, at DSC.

The session was conducted by Mr. Martin Kwon (Vice President, KVillage). In this seminar the participants learned about the K-Star (K*) Visa and how it helps skilled students and young people build their careers in Korea. They also got a clear idea about different fields like IT, AI, Engineering, Semiconductor, R&D, and Digital Innovation, along with insights on working in top Korean companies like Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and SK Group.

The event was honored by Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori Sir (Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE), Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE & Convenor of DIU CPC), along with other respected advisors, teachers, committee members, staff, and dedicated volunteers.

Industry Collaboration Meeting with Alumni From Betopia Group

A successful meeting was held with our university alumni who are now working at Betopia Group. A major focus of the session was how we can strengthen industry collaboration to create better opportunities for our students.

The meeting was honored by Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori Sir (Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. S. M. Aminul Haque Sir (Professor & Associate Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. Arif Mahmud Sir (Associate Professor & Associate Head, Dept. of CSE), and Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE and Convenor of DIU CPC), along with other respected faculty members.

Through this collaboration, several initiatives have been planned, including industry visits, LinkedIn masterclass sessions, and sessions on real-life AI applications such as AI agents. There are also plans to incorporate more industry-based projects into the academic curriculum to make learning more practical and career-oriented.
