𝗗𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 successfully hosted 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 – 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟳 on 21 July 2026, bringing together academia and industry to foster innovation, collaboration, and practical learning. The event featured 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗔𝗳𝘇𝗮𝗹, President of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) and Managing Director of Krishibid Group, as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.

Delivering his keynote on “𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹,” Dr. Afzal shared valuable insights on post-harvest technology, food security, sustainable agriculture, research commercialization, entrepreneurship, and the critical role of stronger collaboration between academia and industry in addressing contemporary challenges.

A key highlight of the programme was the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 and DIU’s 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲, and 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗡𝗙𝗘 . These partnerships will create new opportunities for collaborative research, student internships, industry projects, guest lectures, and curriculum development.

The programme also introduced an enhanced student engagement model through a post-event online assessment, encouraging participants to apply the knowledge gained during the lecture. Outstanding performers will be recognized with special certificates, while participants will also receive exclusive learning rewards from GoEdu, the event's Official E-Learning Partner.

Organized by the Industrial Innovation Centre (IIC) and the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the event was supported by the Ca𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 (𝗖𝗗𝗖) as the Strategic Partner and 𝗚𝗼𝗘𝗱𝘂 as the Official E-Learning Partner.
