We were honored to welcome Ms. Shelu Roy, Director of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), for an official inspection of our laboratory facilities.
The visit was conducted as part of the evaluation process for the approval of the upcoming batch of the BAPA Project. During the inspection, the facilities, equipment and overall learning environment were carefully reviewed to ensure compliance with established standards and quality requirements.
This visit represents an important step forward in our ongoing efforts to uphold excellence in skill development and training. We remain committed to maintaining high standards and fostering an environment that supports effective learning and professional growth.

The new batch of the BAPA Asset Project - PMO (Packaging Machine Operation) officially started today, marking the beginning of another promising learning journey for the participants.
The first session was conducted by Professor Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Director, Industrial Innovation Centre, DIU. He shared valuable insights and guidance to help participants understand the objectives and significance of the program. His session set a strong foundation for the upcoming activities and learning opportunities within the project.
This new batch aims to equip participants with practical knowledge, collaborative experience and the necessary skills to contribute effectively to project initiatives in the future.

An insightful session on “The Process of Food Fermentation” was conducted for the IFST course (Food Microbiology part) by Professor Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Director, IIC, DIU.
The session emphasized the scientific principles, microbial mechanisms and industrial applications of fermentation in ensuring food safety and quality. It was truly an enriching learning experience for the students.

The Semi-Final Round of the Hult Prize at Daffodil International University was successfully held on 16 February 2026 at the Innovation Lab, DSC.
A total of 33 student teams presented their innovative and impact-driven ideas, proposing sustainable solutions to pressing global and social challenges. The event reflected the strong entrepreneurial spirit and creative potential of DIU students.
The Industrial Innovation Centre (IIC) extended venue support by facilitating the Innovation Lab for the successful arrangement of the Semi-Final Round. We appreciate the initiative of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and congratulate all participating teams for their enthusiastic engagement.

A high-level delegation from the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) paid a courtesy visit to Daffodil International University on 15 February 2026, marking a significant occasion of academic and strategic engagement.
As part of the scheduled program, the distinguished delegation visited the Industrial Innovation Centre (IIC), where they were introduced to the university’s innovation-driven initiatives, research activities and industry collaboration efforts. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase ongoing projects, technological advancements and the university’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and applied research.

The Beekeeping & Honey Production Project of IIC, DIU was inaugurated yesterday by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir Sir.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. MD. Bellal Hossain Sir, Director of the Industrial Innovation Centre (IIC), along with the full IIC team, Proctorial Team, and respected members of the Amar Food.
This initiative reflects DIU’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and practical entrepreneurship.
Through modern beekeeping practices, the project aims to promote natural honey production while supporting innovation, research, and entrepreneurship.
