REGISTRATION IS GOING ON FOR B-MEET BATCH 07!!

Career and Placement Center (CPC) is introducing the 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝑴𝒊𝒚𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒌𝒊 𝑰𝑪𝑻 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑩-𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻) program for all university students of any discipline in Bangladesh. This training is jointly organized by North South University and the University of Miyazaki in Japan under JICA & BCC project.
This project will enable the students to prepare for the employment sectors of Japan and Bangladesh after their graduation. It provides the first step for a student to get a job after graduation in a Bangladeshi IT company wanting to do business with Japanese IT companies.
The outcome of this project:

- A trainee can take lectures from professional Japanese language teachers and experienced Japanese businesspeople.
- A trainee can learn about Japanese culture through our Japanese classes.
- A trainee can learn how to study the Japanese language after the training.
- Trainees can increase their chances of getting a job by learning how to write a CV and how to take an interview.
- All trainees will receive a certificate from the University of Miyazaki in Japan after completion of the training.
NB: Each Trainee will receive a certificate from the University of Miyazaki in Japan after completion of the training.

The training will be conducted by Japanese language teachers and experienced Japanese business personnel, where the students will get a chance to learn about Japanese culture and increase their chances of getting a job by learning how to write a CV and how to take an interview.

Dear Students,

The wait is over! North South University Career and Placement Center (CPC) is pleased to announce that the CPC EXCEL BOOTCAMP is going to resume from Friday, 1st March, 2024.

ALL 4 modules will be conducted offline, and classes will be scheduled in the morning on weekends and in the evening on weekdays for everyone’s convenience. All participants will receive a certificate after the successful completion of the Excel Bootcamp.

Registration is open till Monday, 26th February, 2024. Registration may be closed before the aforementioned date since seats are very limited – students are strongly encouraged to check the availability of seats using the form link before paying.

In order to register, students are requested to pay the fees of BDT 2,000 Taka through bKash.

Payment method:
1. Go to your bKash Mobile Menu by dialing *247 # or simply use the bKash app.
2. Choose “Payment”.
3. Enter the Merchant bKash Account Number (01782811111).
(Note: You must use this merchant number for your payment to be accepted).
4. Enter the amount BDT (2000).

Bangladesh- Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training Project (B-MEET) 5th Batch Closing Ceremony:

The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University operates the B-MEET (Bangladesh- Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training Project) Program in partnership with JICA, the University of Miyazaki, and the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). B-MEET bridges Japan and Bangladesh, creating career opportunities in Japanese industries and offering training through the B-JET Center for students from North South University and other Public and Private universities.

The Closing Ceremony of the Bangladesh-Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training (B-MEET) program's 5th batch was held at the B-JET center at the North South University premises. During the Closing Ceremony of the 5th Batch of B-MEET, Professor Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah, the Director of the Career and Placement Center (CPC), and Prof. Yasunori Yano at the University of Miyazaki and Sub Project Manager of B-MEET, awarded twenty trainees certificates acknowledging their outstanding performance. This highlights their dedication to mastering crucial ICT skills for a successful career in Japan, earned through program completion and perfect attendance. Attendees of the B-MEET program had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture, gain insights into business etiquette, and cultivate crucial interview skills while focusing on professional business grooming.

At the Closing Ceremony, representatives from the University of Miyazaki in Japan, including Sina Sardar, Assistant Professor at the University of Miyazaki, alongside Uzawa Takeo from the University of Miyazaki, were trained B-MEET students. Professor Yasunori Yano delivered closing remarks and congratulated the B-MEET trainees for their successful accomplishment. In addition, Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah delivered an encouraging message filled with gratitude, motivating the recently graduated trainees. He expressed heartfelt thanks to JICA, JETRO, BCC, the University of Miyazaki, and other stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and support.

The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University hosted the closing ceremony of Women's Career Carnival 2023 on Sunday.

The two-day-long carnival was organized by Heroes for All (HFA) and iSocial Limited which was bridged the gender gap and leadership skills and inspired women to break barriers in their respective careers.

The closing ceremony showcased the resounding success and impact of women's empowerment initiatives, featuring multiple stalls from prominent companies offering exclusive career opportunities for women. The two-day event encompassed a range of workshops covering essential topics such as "Selecting the Right Career," "CV Writing as a Marketing Tool," "Starting up with Startups," and "Career with Creatives." These sessions were complemented by engaging networking opportunities, High-Tea sessions, interactive discussions, career counseling panels, and talks on building successful careers.

The second day of the Women's Career Carnival 2023 continued the momentum from the inaugural day, witnessing significant success and participation from enthusiastic attendees.

During the closing ceremony, Dr Rehnuma Karim, Founder and President of Heroes for All, Inc and Dr Ananya Raihan, Founder and CEO of I-Social, delivered inspiring speeches that captivated and motivated attending students. The Special Guest, Major General Md Najrul Islam, SPP, NDU, afwc, psc, G (LPR), emphasized the paramount importance of gender inclusivity and empowerment in today's job market. Dr M. Ismail Hossain, Prof of Economics Department in North South University, chaired the session, encouraging women to strive for success despite adversities.

The event was coordinated by a Lecturer of NSU, Hamida Mosharraf Moniea, Coordinator of SBE and the Career and Placement Center (CPC). The volunteer partner of the event was NSU HR CLUB.

At the Closing Ceremony, Dr Mohammad Khasro Miah expressed his warmest heartfelt gratitude and extended a vote of thanks to everyone involved in the Women's Career Carnival 2023, acknowledging their invaluable contributions toward empowering and uplifting women in the professional sphere.
