Census and sampling are two methods of
collecting survey data about the population that are used by many countries. Census refers to the quantitative research method, in which all the members of the population are enumerated. On the other hand, the sampling is the widely used method, in statistical testing, wherein a data set is
selected from the large population,which represents the entire group.

Census implies complete enumeration of the study objects, whereas Sampling connotes enumeration of the subgroup of elements chosen
for participation.

various steps provides a useful procedural guideline regarding the research
process:
1. formulating the research problem;
2. extensive literature survey;
3. developing the hypothesis;
4. preparing the research design;
5. determining sample design;
6. collecting the data;
7. ex*****on of the project;
8. analysis of data;
9. hypothesis testing;
10.generalizations and interpretation, and
11.preparation of the report or presentation of the results,i.e., formal write-up of
conclusions reached.

What is research???

Research may be very broadly defined as systematic gathering of data and information and its analysis for advancement of knowledge in any subject.

Research attempts to find answer intellectual and practical questions through application of systematic methods.

Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines
research as "studious inquiry or examination; esp: investigation or experimentation aimed at the discovery and interpretation of facts, revision of accepted theories or laws in the light of new facts, or practical application of such new or revised
theories or laws".

Some people consider research as a movement, a movement from the known to the unknown.

In 1921 insulin is invented by Frederick Banting & his assistant Charles Best. Frederick Banting was born on 14 November in 1891. In 1991, 14 november the birth century of Banting : The IDF & WHO launched a awareness campaign named World Diabetes Day in response to the rapid increase of Diabetes cases around the world.
