Under the Semester Exchange Program, five DIU students Fatema Tuz Zahura Mahia from the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, MD Ratul Hossen and Abiduzzaman Rahim from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Fatema Tuz Zohra Shammi from the Department of Software Engineering-DIU, and MD Iftimam Montasir Nahid from the Department of Information Technology & Management, are going to start their August-2026 intake at INTI International University & Colleges in Malaysia 🇲🇾

During their exchange semester, they will continue their studies in their respective fields while gaining international academic exposure and experiencing a multicultural campus environment. INTI International University is ranked #122 in Asia in the QS World University Rankings 2026, offering the students an opportunity to experience a globally recognized academic environment and further enrich their international learning journey.

আপনার পরিচিত অনেক ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং পাশ করা বন্ধুদেরকেই দেখবেন ব্যাচেলর্স শেষ করার পরে কোনো একটা এমবিএ প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি হচ্ছে।

থ্রি ইডিয়টসের মতো আপনার মনেও প্রশ্ন, ব্যাটা মার্কেটিংয়েই যদি ঢুকিস, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কোন দুঃখে পড়তে গেলি রে?

আর বাংলাদেশে কি এমন কোনো প্রোগ্রাম নাই যেটা একই সাথে সায়েন্স আর বিজনেস দুই দিক থেকেই নলেজ বিল্ড করে দিবে আমার, যাতে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং পড়ে আবার এম বি এ তে ভর্তি হতে না হয়?

আপনাদেরকেই বলছি ---

শুধু টেকনিক্যাল নলেজ থাকলেই কি আজকের সময়ে যথেষ্ট?
নাকি সাথে ম্যানেজেরিয়াল ও বিজনেস নলেজও জরুরি?

এখনকার সময়ে একটা জিনিস খুব ক্লিয়ার, একদিকে শুধু টেকনিক্যাল স্কিল জানলেই সব হয় না, আবার শুধু বিজনেস বুঝলেও অনেক জায়গায় সীমাবদ্ধতা থেকে যায়।

আসল জায়গাটা হচ্ছে দুটোর মধ্যে একটা balance তৈরি করা।

মানে, technology কীভাবে তৈরি হয় সেটা যেমন বোঝা দরকার, তেমনি সেটা মার্কেটে কীভাবে কাজে লাগে, এই দিকটাও বোঝা সমান গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

এই দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি থেকেই আমার কাছে ইন্টারেস্টিং লেগেছে ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির Information Technology & Management (ITM) Department।

এই প্রোগ্রামটি একটি ইউনিক কম্বিনেশন, প্রায় 60% IT এবং 40% business courses নিয়ে তৈরি, যেখানে শুরু থেকেই technology এবং business একসাথে শেখানো হয়। অনেক সময় দেখা যায়, CSE বা অন্য IT ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডের শিক্ষার্থীরা পরে MBA করে বিজনেস নলেজ অর্জন করে, কিন্তু ITM সেই গ্যাপটা শুরু থেকেই কভার করে থাকে।

আর শুধু বইয়ের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ না,

এখানে project-based শেখার উপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।
শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেরা project বানায়,
সেটা নিয়ে analysis করে,
এবং বাস্তব বিজনেসে কীভাবে কাজে লাগে, সেটাও শেখে।

শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের আগ্রহ অনুযায়ী FinTech অথবা IT Project Management, এই দুইটি track থেকে মেজর বেছে নিতে পারে।

আর একটা জিনিস যেটা আমার ভালো লেগেছে,

অনেক শিক্ষার্থী পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি জব করছে। এই ধরনের skillset থাকার কারণে তারা গ্র্যাজুয়েশনের আগেই কাজের সুযোগ পাচ্ছে।

ইতিমধ্যে কয়েকটা ব্যাচ গ্র্যাজুয়েট করেছে, এবং তাদের অনেকেই এখন কাজ করছে দেশের ভালো corporate প্রতিষ্ঠান, MNC, এমনকি international remote জবেও। তবে ট্র্যাকের মধ্যে আইটি ফিল্ড যেমন আছে, বিজনেস ফিল্ডগুলাও সমানভাবে আছে।

আরেকটা বড় দিক হচ্ছে international exposure।

ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশের প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর মধ্যে Times Higher Education ranking-এ #1 নম্বর র‍্যাংক করেছে।

এছাড়াও ITM-এর শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য আছে বিদেশে এক সেমিস্টার পড়ার সুযোগ, এবং ইতিমধ্যে অনেকেই ফুল স্কলারশিপ নিয়ে Sweden, Spain, Japan, Turkey, Poland সহ আরও অনেক দেশে সেমিস্টার এক্সচেঞ্জ করে এসেছে।

সব মিলিয়ে, যদি কেউ এমন কিছু শিখতে চায় যেখানে টেকনিক্যাল আর বিজনেস, দুটোই একসাথে develop করা যায়, তাহলে এই ধরনের একটা program নিয়ে ভেবে দেখা যেতে পারে।
