It is hereby informed to all eligible researchers, scholars, and interested applicants that Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU), Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Molecular Diagnostics and Nanobiosensor Applications.
The research project is funded by the Saudi National Institute of Health (SNIH) and focuses on developing advanced molecular diagnostic platforms for the early detection of respiratory viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and Influenza, particularly in relation to Hajj and Umrah.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
* A PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
* Strong practical experience in molecular biology laboratory techniques.
* Demonstrated expertise in research project design and scientific writing.
* A strong publication record.
* Experience in nanotechnology and biosensor applications.
* Excellent proficiency in English.
* Experience in bioinformatics using Python, R, or related tools will be considered an added advantage.
Eligibility
Priority will be given to Saudi nationals. Eligible non-Saudi applicants holding valid Saudi residency may also apply in accordance with the university's recruitment regulations.
