The two-day Inter-School and College Debate Competition 2026, organized by the Armed Police Battalion College Dhaka Debate Club, concluded successfully yesterday and today.
Participating institutions included:
Armed Police Battalion School & College
Shaheed Police Smrity School & College
Rajarbag Police Lines School & College

During the two-day event, Bangla debate competitions were held at the school level, while English debate competitions took place at the college level.

Today is International Worker's Day.

In the 1800s, workers protested against excessive working hours. In Chicago, United States, thousands of workers went on strike demanding fair working conditions. A few days later, the situation escalated into conflict and an explosion, where both police officers and civilians lost their lives. In memory of this event, a decision was made in Second International in 1889 to observe May 1 every year as a day dedicated to worker's rights and their struggles.
