By actively engaging local communities, the YRE volunteers of Bhola continue to set inspiring examples through their dedicated environmental and social initiatives. Recently, a special delegation from Probha Aurora held a meaningful exchange session with active volunteers from two important upazilas of Bhola, the country’s largest island district, to share experiences, achievements, and explore future collaboration. The volunteers have also expressed strong interest in mangrove restoration and, in the coming days, aim to further strengthen their capacity through specialized training. They are particularly eager to adopt a science-based approach to mangrove restoration, enhancing their contribution to coastal ecosystem protection and climate resilience. In addition, under the framework of Greening Education, they have shown keen interest in joining initiatives such as the Eco-Schools Programme and the LEAF Programme in the near future, further expanding their engagement in environmental education and action.
