Notre Dame Science Club proudly celebrated its 𝟳𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, which falls on 𝟭𝟴 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿. The event was held at the 𝗠𝘂𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼 of Notre Dame College to mark this special milestone.

The event was attended by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗖𝗦𝗖, Principal of Notre Dame College, Dhaka, who addressed the gathering. The Club's Moderator, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼, was also in attendance, along with several distinguished alumni from the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 '𝟴𝟭. The executive committee and members of the Notre Dame Science Club were also present making the celebration a truly memorable gathering.

The celebration began with the release of a balloon-mounted banner, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the Club’s 71st anniversary.

𝟕𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of a story that keeps finding new chapters.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟱, a flag was raised, a journey began, and a small spark of curiosity found a home. Under the vision of the late 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗺 𝗖.𝗦.𝗖., the Notre Dame Science Club took its first steps—a beginning that would eventually grow into a legacy woven through generations of young minds.

For 𝟕𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, the club has stood where curiosity meets possibility. It has turned questions into experiments, ideas into inventions, and fascination into a lifelong pursuit of science. From pioneering science festivals in the Indian subcontinent to nurturing remarkable talents on national and international stages, from embracing Virtual Reality to venturing into the world of technology with its official website and app, the journey has always moved forward. With the establishment of the NDSC R&D Wing and its innovative projects, the spirit of exploration found another horizon.

However, the greatest part of this story cannot be measured by inventions, festivals, or achievements. It lives in the countless curious eyes, the unfinished projects, the late-night ideas, the excitement of discovery, the friendships formed along the way, and the generations who carried the torch a little further.

The faces have changed. The classrooms have changed. The world around us has changed. But the spirit remains the same.

Today, we celebrate not merely 𝟕𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, but 𝟕𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of people, ideas, dreams, discoveries, and memories that have shaped the story of Notre Dame Science Club.

The most beautiful thing about this story is that it is not finished yet. There are still questions waiting to be asked, frontiers waiting to be explored, and chapters waiting to be written.

Today, 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 has successfully conducted 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 bringing creative minds together for a fun and exciting test of concepts, logic and proficiency .

We were glad by the presence of our respected club moderator and panel members whose guidance and presence added significance to the event.

From the first question to the final answer, the room was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.

If you’ve watched Doraemon, you already know that 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 sounds like a pretty normal Sunday afternoon. Nobita changes something in the past, comes back to the present—and suddenly everything is different.

But here’s a question that makes time travel considerably less fun:
What if you went back in time and changed something that prevented you from ever being born?
That is the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘅.

Imagine travelling to the past and somehow preventing your grandfather from ever meeting your grandmother. If that happens, your parent is never born. Then you are never born. But if you were never born... 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲?
