API Versioning একটি প্রক্রিয়া যা API-এর বিভিন্ন সংস্করণ(Version) পরিচালনা করতে সহায়তা করে। এটি ক্লায়েন্ট অ্যাপ্লিকেশনগুলির উপর কম প্রভাব ফেলে এবং API-এর আপডেট, রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ, ও ব্যাকওয়ার্ডস কম্প্যাটিবিলিটি বজায় রাখতে সাহায্য করে। এতে নতুন বৈশিষ্ট্য ধাপে ধাপে যোগ করা যায়, যা উন্নয়নের গতি বাড়ায় এবং ত্রুটি কমায়।
*প্রকারভেদ*
1. URI ভার্সনিং: URL-এর শেষে বা শুরুতে ভার্সন নম্বর যোগ করে।
2. Query Parameters: URL-এর মধ্যে ভার্সন উল্লেখ করা।
3. Header Versioning: HTTP হেডারে ভার্সন।
4. Media Type Versioning: Content-Type হেডারে ভার্সন যুক্ত করা।
