Moody's Investors Service has forecast India to be the fastest growing G20 economy in the next few years, with a growth rate of 7.8% in the fiscal year 2023 and 7.2% in the fiscal year 2024.

The ratings agency attributed India's growth to a number of factors, including strong domestic demand, robust investment, and a favorable external environment. Moody's also noted that India's growth is expected to be more resilient to global headwinds than that of other G20 economies.
