The BUFT Research & Innovation Society (BRIS) Orientation 2026 is the beginning of a community built around exploring what research can make possible. It is a place to engage with new perspectives, meet like-minded people who are interested in research, and take the first step toward turning an idea into something meaningful.

Whether you are completely new to research or already have a project in mind, BRIS is here to give you the opportunity to get involved and see where your interests can lead. At BUFT, we’re creating more space for ideas to be explored through research.

The BUFT Research Excellence Ceremony 2025 was not only a celebration on stage, but the result of countless efforts behind it. Honoring excellence through the Young Research Scholar Award, Senior Research Scholar Award, and Academic Excellence Award, the ceremony recognized their commitment to research, learning, and knowledge. Alhamdulillah! BRIS congratulates our Advisor, Abu Saeed Sir, on receiving the BUFT Best Young Researcher Scholar Award 2025 for his contribution to research at BUFT.

The award recognizes his work in high-quality indexed journal publications and research projects. In 2025, Sir published five research papers in internationally indexed journals and secured research grants from SISIP-BIRDI, the Ministry of Science & Technology, and BUFT, including a Tk. 1.5 crore project on the sustainable utilization of cotton waste.
