Watching Kishwar Chowdhury in Masterchef Australia has been a delightful and inspiring experience for all of us.
Instead of trying to create popular western dishes, she decided to present unique yet simple dishes thatโs close to her. Dishes none of the judges ever even heard of!
She chose to be unique by presenting her true and authentic self. She showed that you can still achieve greatness by just being yourself. You donโt have to try to fit in, in fact you can be your true self and stand out.
She finally ended the grand finale with presenting โaloo bhortaโ a dish we could never picture to be presented in such a setting! It is not even presented at the fancy restaurants here.
She said to the judges it is a dish you wonโt see in a restaurant, and as it is her last dish in the competition she decided to cook that. How brave of her to put herself forward like that.
She did not think what will make her WIN, instead she thought what she wanted to present, what would make HER happy.
She won the hearts of her family and the whole nation.
We are proud of Kishwar Chowdhury for presenting our local cuisine to the world and for showing how you can be your authentic self and still achieve greatness.
