📍 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗟𝘁𝗱.

The School of Pharmacy, BRAC University, organized an industrial visit to Synovia Pharma Ltd. on 15 June 2026 (Monday), providing our students with an opportunity to experience the practical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry beyond the classroom.

A total of 41 students from the 3rd Year, 2nd Semester, accompanied by 3 faculty members, participated in this visit. During the visit, students explored different key areas of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, including the Production Facility, Quality Control Department, and Warehouse.

This visit allowed our students to visualize and better understand the practical applications of the concepts they have studied in their academic courses. Observing the industrial workflow, quality standards, and manufacturing practices firsthand provided valuable insights into the professional environment of the pharmaceutical sector.

We sincerely appreciate Synovia Pharma Ltd. for their warm hospitality, excellent arrangements, and for dedicating their valuable time to guide and interact with our students. Special appreciation goes to the organizing personnel and team members who made this learning experience smooth, informative, and memorable.

The well-maintained facilities and beautiful surroundings of the plant added to the overall experience, making the visit even more enjoyable for our students.

Such industry-academia collaborations play an important role in preparing future pharmacists with practical knowledge and professional understanding.

The School of Pharmacy, BRAC University, successfully organized an industrial visit to Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Zirabo Plant on 8 June 2026 (Monday) as part of its commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world pharmaceutical practices.

During the visit, our pharmacy students had the opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to various operational and manufacturing facilities, including the Production Unit, Quality Control Unit, Biotech Production Facility, Warehouse, and other key departments. The visit provided valuable insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality assurance practices, regulatory compliance, and the overall industrial workflow of a leading pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh.

Such industry-academia engagements play a vital role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge and preparing them for future professional challenges in the pharmaceutical sector.

The School of Pharmacy at BRAC University proudly hosted Pharmacology Olympiad 1.0 on 14 May 2026, the first-ever pharmacology olympiad organized by the school.

The event brought together passionate pharmacy students in an exciting competition featuring MCQs, case studies, riddles, and pictionary, encouraging knowledge, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.

We were honored by the presence of our special guest, Iffat Islam Mayesha, whose inspiring participation made the occasion even more memorable.
