English language plays a vital role in the field of economy. Remittance is one of the major contributors of Bangladesh’s economy. According to a report, emigrant workers sent $16.42 billion as remittance in 2018-19. However, laborers sent from Bangladesh often complain that they do not get the payment they were supposed to. In addition, they do not get a good job either. The only reason behind this is their lack of English skill. Because of their lack of English knowledge and training, they are often marked as uneducated and unskilled worker. If the authorities related to this sector could send educated and properly trained workers then more remittances would come in our economy.
