o Example: We arrived at the station ahead of time.
194. On behalf of (অন বিহাফ অফ) - পক্ষে
o Example: I am speaking on behalf of all my colleagues.
195. In terms of (ইন টার্মস অফ) - পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে
o Example: The job is great in terms of salary.
196. In favor of (ইন ফেভর অফ) - নিমিত্তে, সমর্থনে
o Example: The committee voted in favor of the proposal.
197. In charge of (ইন চার্জ অফ) - অভিযোগে
o Example: Who is in charge of this department?
198. In search of (ইন সার্চ অফ) - খোঁজে/সন্ধানে
o Example: They went out in search of food.

o Example: This monument was built in memory of the martyrs.

Prepositional Phrase কেন শেখা জরুরি, তার কয়েকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ নিচে ব্যাখ্যা করা হলো:

📌 বাক্যকে আরও তথ্যবহুল ও স্পষ্ট করা (Adding Detail and Clarity)
Prepositional Phrase ছাড়া আমাদের বাক্য খুব সাধারণ ও অসম্পূর্ণ থাকে। এটি সময়, স্থান, কারণ, পদ্ধতি ইত্যাদি বিস্তারিত তথ্য যোগ করে বাক্যকে পূর্ণতা দেয়।

অসম্পূর্ণ বাক্য: The cat is sleeping.

প্রিপোজিশনাল ফ্রেজ যোগে পূর্ণ বাক্য: The cat is sleeping on the warm sofa. (কোথায়?)

আরও পূর্ণ বাক্য: The cat is sleeping on the warm sofa in the living room after eating its food. (কোথায়, কোথায়, কখন?)

📌 ইংরেজি বাক্য গঠনের মূল ভিত্তি (Foundation of Sentence Structure)

ইংরেজিতে বাক্য গঠনের জন্য Subject (কর্তা) + Verb (ক্রিয়া) + Object (কর্ম) এর পাশাপাশি Prepositional Phrase অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এটি বাক্যের প্রসারিত অংশ (modifier) হিসেবে কাজ করে।

📌 স্বাভাবিক ও প্রাকৃতিক ইংরেজি বলার জন্য (For Natural & Fluent English)

যারা ইংরেজি শিখছেন, তারা প্রায়শই সরাসরি বাংলা থেকে ইংরেজি অনুবাদ করেন। এর ফলে বাক্য কৃত্রিম শোনায়। Prepositional Phrase সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার করতে পারলে আপনার ইংরেজি অনেক বেশি স্বাভাবিক এবং Native Speaker-দের মতো শোনাবে।

কৃত্রিম/ভুল: I will go to home.

স্বাভাবিক ও সঠিক: I will go home. (এখানে 'home' adverb) অথবা, I am at home. (এখানে 'at home' prepositional phrase)

📌 নির্ভুলতা বৃদ্ধি করা (Increasing Accuracy)
বিশেষ করে স্থান, সময় ও দিক নির্দেশনার ক্ষেত্রে Prepositional Phrase নির্ভুলতা আনে।

স্থান: Your book is on the table/in the bag/under the bed। (প্রতিটি Phrase অবস্থানের স্পষ্ট ধারণা দেয়)

সময়: Meet me at 5 PM/on Monday/in December। (সময়ের ক্ষেত্রে সঠিক Preposition ব্যবহার জরুরি)

📌 Academic Writing এবং Professional Communication-এর জন্য অপরিহার্য

যেকোনো Formal লেখালেখি, যেমন: রিপোর্ট, ইমেইল, গবেষণাপত্র, বা প্রবন্ধে জটিল ধারণাগুলো স্পষ্টভাবে প্রকাশ করার জন্য Prepositional Phrase অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

উদাহরণ: The meeting will be held in the conference room on the second floor in accordance with the company's new policy.

📌 Reading Comprehension (বোঝার ক্ষমতা) বাড়ায়
যেকোনো ইংরেজি লেখা (বই, সংবাদ, নিবন্ধ) পড়ার সময় Prepositional Phrase চিনতে পারলে বাক্যের অর্থ বুঝতে অনেক সহজ হয়। এটি বাক্যের কোন অংশটি কীভাবে মূল বিষয়বস্তুকে পরিবর্তন বা সম্প্রসারণ করছে, তা বুঝতে সাহায্য করে।

🔤 আজ আমরা শিখব "Should" দিয়ে কীভাবে সঠিক ও অর্থবোধক বাক্য গঠন করতে হয় – বাংলা অর্থসহ ✅

🔹 Should do (করা উচিত):
✅ I should do – আমি পড়া উচিত।
✅ We should do – আমাদের সময় মেনে চলা উচিত।
✅ You should do – তোমার নিয়ম মানা উচিত।
✅ He/She should do – তার বাইরে যাওয়া উচিত।
✅ They should do – তাদের কাজ শুরু করা উচিত।
✅ It should do – এটিকে কাজ করা উচিত।

🔹 Should be (হওয়া উচিত):
✅ I should be – আমি সেখানে থাকা উচিত।
✅ We should be – আমরা প্রস্তুত থাকা উচিত।
✅ You should be – তোমার ক্লাসে থাকা উচিত।
✅ He/She should be – তার অফিসে থাকা উচিত।
✅ They should be – তাদের কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকা উচিত।
✅ It should be – এটি সচল থাকা উচিত।

🔹 Should be doing (করতে থাকা উচিত):
✅ I should be doing – আমি পড়তে থাকা উচিত।
✅ We should be doing – আমরা অনুশীলন করতে থাকা উচিত।
✅ You should be doing – তোমার লিখতে থাকা উচিত।
✅ He/She should be doing – তার রান্না করতে থাকা উচিত।
✅ They should be doing – তাদের কাজ করতে থাকা উচিত।
✅ It should be doing – এটি চলতে থাকা উচিত।

🔹 Should have (থাকা উচিত):
✅ I should have – আমার আরও সময় থাকা উচিত।
✅ We should have – আমাদের পরিকল্পনা থাকা উচিত।
✅ You should have – তোমার টাকা থাকা উচিত।
✅ He/She should have – তার বই থাকা উচিত।
✅ They should have – তাদের অনুমতি থাকা উচিত।
✅ It should have – এর ব্যাখ্যা থাকা উচিত।

🔹 Should have done (করা উচিত ছিল):
✅ I should have done – আমার আগেই চলে আসা উচিত ছিল।
✅ We should have done – আমাদের কাজটা শেষ করা উচিত ছিল।
✅ You should have done – তোমার ফোন করা উচিত ছিল।
✅ He/She should have done – তার দেরি না করা উচিত ছিল।
✅ They should have done – তাদের আগে জানানো উচিত ছিল।
✅ It should have done – এটি আগেই কাজ করা উচিত ছিল।
