👉 In an addressable fire alarm system, an Isolator Module works like a protective shield for the communication loop.

𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹:
👉 Prevent one short circuit from disabling the entire fire detection system.

🔍 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:
• The module continuously monitors the SLC loop voltage and current.
• If a wire-to-wire short circuit occurs, the voltage drops significantly.
• The isolator instantly disconnects only the faulty section from the loop.
• The remaining detectors and devices continue operating normally.
• Once the fault is repaired, the module automatically restores the connection — no manual reset required.

💡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:
👉 Without isolator modules, a single short circuit could affect communication across the entire loop. By isolating only the damaged segment, system reliability and life safety are greatly improved.
