Task: How to clean Range Burner


OBJECTIVE: At the end of this session, Associates will be able to learn how to complete the task as per the standard

STANDARD: SOP
Sop No: 34


INSTRUCTIONS

1.

PPE Requirement

● Plastic Apron
● Rubber Hand Gloves
● Safety Shoes
● Mask
● Goggles


2.

Materials Required

● Hand Dish washing
● Scrubbing Pad
● scrubber
● Grill & Oven Cleaner
● Water Bucket
● Tissue towel/Duster




3· Procedure

Step 1
● Wear all required PPE(Safety Shoes, Mask, Gloves, Goggles etc.)
● Keep the range temperature up to 65 °c for a good result
● Remove the food particles or extra debris from Bruner
● Apply grill & oven cleaner all over the burner
● Wait few times
● Remove the removable parts like Range griller / Pan (If pan is removable) to the washing sink
● Apply the dish washing liquid them and scrub out the range grill and pan ( Scrub by Wire brush if necessary).
● Rinse them properly and allow to air dry

Step 2
● Scrub the burner table and around the area k**b/body by dish washing liquid.
● Wipe nicely with tissue or duster (Rinse thoroughly with fresh water if applicable or burner area are washable)
● Apply quat based sanitizer on the k**b and wipe all area/body .

Step 3
● Reassemble the removed part like pan / range grill and set them as removed.
● Check and Practical Check.

MONITORING
● Monitor Cleaning checklist



Control Point
● Ensure the range burner well clean.
● Make range burner is working.

Safety
● Rinse and dry hands after use.
● Do not inhale sprayed product.
