ZUMS Law Society successfully organized “The Shadow Trial 1.0”, a practical advocacy competition organized in collaboration with the Department of Law, designed to provide students of the Department of Law with a courtroom-style learning experience.
The event brought together students of the Department to engage with hypothetical legal cases, develop legal arguments, apply relevant statutory provisions and authorities, and demonstrate their oral advocacy and presentation skills.
ZUMS Law Society and the Department of Law extends its sincere gratitude to the respected Chairperson and Dean, Advocate Ms. Seema Haider Chaudhury, and the respected Treasurer and Member of the Board of Trustees Barrister Shafiqur Rahman for their constant support, encouragement, and dedication towards the Department of Law.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished faculty members, including Ms. Rabeya Basri, Mr. Nur Islam Emon and Ms. Mariha Mahboob.
