✍️ IELTS Writing Task 2: Article-এর ভুলে ব্যান্ড স্কোর কমছে না তো?
IELTS Writing-এ Grammatical Range and Accuracy (GRA) সেকশনে ২৫% মার্ক থাকে। আর আমাদের মধ্যে অনেকেরই সবচেয়ে বেশি ভুল হয় Article (a,an,the) ব্যবহারে। বিশেষ করে 'The' কোথায় বসবে আর কোথায় বসবে না—এই কনফিউশনে ব্যান্ড স্কোর ০.৫ থেকে ১ কমে যেতে পারে। 🤦‍♂️
চলুন সহজ কিছু নিয়ম দেখে নিই যা আপনার Writing-কে আরও প্রফেশনাল করবে:
✅ ১. Singular Countable Nouns-এর আগে Article মাস্ট!
আপনি যদি লেখেন: "Government should take step" — এটি ভুল। ❌
সঠিক হবে: "The government should take a step." ✅
(মনে রাখবেন, সিঙ্গুলার নাউন কখনোই একা বসে না, তার আগে একটি Article বা Determiner লাগে।)

✅ ২. General (সাধারণ) বনাম Specific (নির্দিষ্ট):
যখন আপনি সাধারণভাবে কোনো গ্রুপের কথা বলবেন, তখন Article লাগবে না।

"The Computers are useful." (ভুল) ❌

"Computers are useful." (সঠিক - এখানে সব কম্পিউটারকে বোঝানো হচ্ছে) ✅

কিন্তু যখন নির্দিষ্ট করে কোনো কিছুর কথা বলবেন:

"The computers in schools are often outdated." ✅ (এখানে শুধু স্কুলের কম্পিউটারের কথা বলা হচ্ছে।)

✅ ৩. Uncountable ও Abstract Nouns-এর ক্ষেত্রে সাবধান:
Education, Information, Knowledge, Happiness—এসবের আগে সাধারণত 'The' বসে না।

"The education is important." (ভুল) ❌

"Education is important." ✅

✅ ৪. কিছু Fixed Phrases যা Task 2-তে খুব কাজে লাগে:

On the other hand (On other hand বলবেন না)

In the long run

For instance (For an instance হয় না)

To a certain extent

💡 প্রো-টিপ:
আপনার লেখা শেষ করার পর চেক করে দেখুন কোনো Singular Noun কি Article ছাড়া একা বসে আছে? যদি থাকে, তবে দ্রুত সেখানে একটি a,an বা the বসিয়ে দিন।

তুমি যদি IELTS Writing-এ Band 8+ target করো, তাহলে শুধু ইংরেজি জানলেই হবে না — দরকার smart strategy + computer skill

১. Typing speed = লুকানো power
Computer-based exam-এ fast typing মানে বেশি time পাবে idea develop করতে।
Target রাখো 35–40 WPM

২. Structure হলো KING
Examiner প্রথমেই structure দেখে:
✔ Clear Introduction
✔ Clear Paragraphing
✔ Short Conclusion
এলোমেলো লিখলে Band 6-এর উপরে উঠা কঠিন!

৩. Smart linking words ব্যবহার করো
❌ And, But, So
✅ Moreover, However, Consequently, On the other hand

৪. Paraphrasing = Band 8-এর জাদু
Question থেকে word copy করলে score কমে যাবে
Synonym ব্যবহার করো + sentence change করো

৫. Sentence mix করো
✔ Simple + Complex + Compound
সব sentence একরকম হলে high band আসে না

৬. Real example দিলে score boost
General কথা না — specific example দাও
যেমন: “বাংলাদেশে COVID-এর পর online education অনেক বেড়েছে”

৭. শেষ ৩ মিনিট = সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ
✔ Spelling check
✔ Grammar check
Computer test-এ ভুল ধরা সহজ

➤ Google Docs বা computer-এ practice করো — খাতায় practice করলে full benefit পাবে না

Fluent English না, clear idea + smart writing = Band 8
