Department of Social Sciences and Humanities organises Heritage Cosplay and Art Exhibition

Do you have any friend, colleague or relative who might want to do a Master’s degree at IUB? We urge current undergraduate students and members of IUB faculty and administration to forward, recommend and share the “Master’s Programs Open Day” invitation to those who would benefit, especially those preparing themselves for a job or higher education.
In collaboration with the schools, the Office of Graduate Studies Research and Industry Relations (GSRIR) of IUB is organizing a “Master’s Open Day” on 23 August, 2026 at 7:00pm-8:20pm, online through Zoom. The aim of this event is to attract potential students to explore and eventually enroll in Master’s programs at IUB.
They would have the opportunity to interact with the relevant faculty members and get help in choosing a career for themselves. IUB has arranged an additional discount of 50% on admission fees only for those who will attend the Open Day and register for a master’s program.

The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (DSSH), in collaboration with the Department of Media and Communication (DMC), successfully organized the Workshop on Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) on 1 August 2026 at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
The workshop featured engaging sessions led by international professionals, including experts from UNICEF, providing participants with valuable insights into the concepts, approaches, and practical applications of Social and Behaviour Change.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the distinguished facilitators, organizers, and all the participants whose enthusiastic involvement contributed to the success of the workshop.
