We are incredibly proud to share that Sharun Akter Khushbu, a valued core member of the DIU NLP & ML Research Lab, under the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, has begun a new academic journey at North Carolina State University, USA. She has secured a fully funded PhD scholarship — a remarkable achievement that reflects her dedication, research excellence, and unwavering commitment to learning.

As an Assistant Professor of the CSE Department and a supervisor of our lab, she played a vital role in mentoring students, guiding research projects, and strengthening our work in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Her leadership, sincerity, and academic vision have left a lasting impact on the lab and its members.

It was an inspiring and highly productive visit where our lab students engaged in hands-on learning sessions on Python and Machine Learning, explored real-world applications, and interacted with industry professionals.
