আসেন আরেক Raw Research মারি.
The daily star এর একটা রিপোর্ট এ দেখলাম একটা মানুষ মারা গেলে এটাকে কিভাবে writing লিখতে হয় তা দেখালো. অনেকের কাছেই এই " Breathing her last" কথাটা অপরিচিত লাগতে পারে কারণ আমরা অতটা Research করে পড়ার লোক না. তবে প্রবেলম নাই আমি বুঝিয়ে দেয়ার জন্যই আছি. এখন আমি কিছু Researched Word দেখাবো যেগুলো Die এর পরিবর্তে Writing Task এ লিখতে পারেন. কারণ এখন আপনাদের আর ক্লাস 10 বা কলেজ এ নাই আপনারা এখন IELTS candidate. এখন এমন রাইটিং মারবেন পরে যাতে মনে হয় The Business Standard এর রিপোর্ট এর মতো রাইটিং লিখেছেন.
তো কথা না বাড়ায় কামে আসি.
A. (verb) in the sense of passing away

Definition

(of a person, animal, or plant) to cease all biological activity permanently

উদাহরণ দেখেন একটা
1. His grandfather died last year. এইডা এমনি মারলাম আরো আছে.

Synonyms

1. expire

He expired in excruciating agony.

2. perish

the ferry disaster in which 193 passengers perished.

2. croak ( যদিও এই ওয়ার্ড মামু আবার আমাদের Bus ওয়ালা মামুর মতো slang)

Having nearly croaked twice, I'm grateful to be alive.

3. kick the bucket (slang)

I don't plan on kicking the bucket for another thirty years.

4. breathe your last ( এইযে এই word মামু রে আমার ভাল লাগে লিখতে )

My grandfather breathed her last this Monday.

5. Pass away

He passed away peacefully in hospital.

6. pass on

I'm sorry to hear that your grandfather has passed on

7. drop dead

He dropped dead while running at the age of 42.

আচ্ছা এটুকুই শিখেন.

বসে বসে ভাবতেছেন কবে প্রিপারেশন শুরু করবেন? আপনি শয়তানের ধোঁকা তে আছেন.
ধান্দা বাদ দিয়ে আজ কে থেকেই প্রিপারেশন শুরু করেন. দিনে অল্প হলেও করেন কিন্তু "করেন".

IELTS- মানে just "শুরু করেন". আপনি শুরু করেছেন মানে আপনিই পারবেন.
