In this video, we will learn about GIS-based Multi-Criteria Analysis to identify the site suitability of cyclone shelters in a district of Bangladesh. We will utilize an automatic Excel file for multi-criteria analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique. We will consider seven variables: road distance, river distance, land use land cover, elevation, slope, proximity to health care facilities, and population. The download link for the AHP Excel sheet will be provided in the description section of this video. You can follow this method for GIS-based suitability analysis using the Multi-Criteria Decision Making AHP technique. I hope you will like this tutorial.

Identify Affected Structures for a Proposed Road Project Using ArcGIS
Suppose you're working in a road construction project where a new road is about to be constructed. Your task is to determine the total number of structures that will be affected within a certain distance from both sides of the proposed road. In this video, you'll learn how to identify the total number of structures within the required distances from the proposed road. This valuable information will enable you to pinpoint affected plots and gather ownership information. Additionally, you can apply this method to existing road improvement projects that are being extended from both sides.
