Important announcement for participants of Dhaka region:

Dear Participants,

We hope that you have received your admit cards by this time. The seat plan and detailed program schedule will be shared with you shortly via email.

Please carefully note the following instructions:

• All participants are requested to assemble at 9:00 AM in front of the Department of Chemistry building, Curzon Hall premises, University of Dhaka. Registration materials will be distributed there prior to the examination.

• You must bring a printed copy of your admit card (sent via email), along with copies of a valid student ID card and NID/birth certificate. Please also attach one recent passport-size photograph to your admit card.

• Mobile phones, smart watches, and any other electronic communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

• Use of a scientific calculator is permitted.

• There is no mandatory dress code. However, wearing school/college uniform is preferable.

Due to increased interests, the deadline for registration of Dhaka region has been extended till 23 January 2026.

We are getting huge responses and queries from our prospective participants and want to thank them sincerely for their interests. At the same time, it is getting difficult for us to reply the queries individually. So we have compiled the most commonly asked questions in our inbox and tried to give answers here in a single post.

 What is the registration deadline? How to register?
 Registration is region-based. For Dhaka region, the deadline for registration is 18 January 2026. For other regions, please keep your eyes on the fb page or contact the regional convener of your region. The contact details of the regional conveners are provided in the circulation poster.

 What is the registration fee? How to pay it?
 Registration fee for Dhaka and Chattogram regions is 200 BDT and for other regions is 100 BDT. Registration payment method is region-based. Please keep your eyes on the fb page or contact the regional convener of your region. The contact details of the regional conveners are provided in the circulation poster.

 How to register for Dhaka region?
 Please fill out this Google form: https://forms.gle/u9XxQt6hY72gJofB7. The details of payment is provided in the form.

 When will the Olympiad be held?
 The Preliminary round of the Olympiad will be held on 31 January 2026 in 15 different regions across Bangladesh. The final round will be held at the University of Dhaka on 04 April 2026.

 Who can participate?
 HSC or A-level students (students who are under 20 years old on 01 July 2026) can participate in the exam.

 Can international students participate?
 Only Bangladeshi nationals studying in Bangladeshi institutions can participate.

 What is the syllabus?
 HSC and A-level chemistry.

 Will accommodation be provided to out-of-town participants?
 Unfortunately no. But one can participate from his/her own/nearest region as the preliminary round exam will be held at country-wide 15 different regions.

 Will there be any participation certificate?
 Yes. All participants will be provided with participation certificates.

Dear Participants,
The 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad 2026 is going to be organized by the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka, and the Bangladesh Chemical Society. Unlike the previous three versions Chemistry Olympiad is observed in offline mode this year. The preliminary round of the Olympiad will be held on 31 January 2026 (Saturday 10:00 AM) simultaneously in 15 different regions all over the country and the final round will be staged on 04 April 2026 (Saturday 10:00 AM) in the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka. The winners of the final round will get the access to the International Chemistry Olympiad to be held on 10-19 July 2026 at Tashkent in Uzbekistan. The registration process of DU regions will be on online platform through Google form. The link of the form is given below:
