On 20 May 2026, Bangladesh International School & College, Nirjhor successfully organized its Fruit Festival with a completely new vision and purpose. At our institution, we always strive to transform learning into a joyful, meaningful, and experience-based journey for every learner.
This year, the Fruit Festival was designed not merely to taste fruits, but to make the entire festival deeply educational, creative, and purposeful. Through this unique initiative, we introduced our students to new dynamics of learning through fruits, where every activity carried a meaningful lesson connected to real life.
The festival featured 9 unique and innovative stalls where students demonstrated how fruits can be explored in diverse and meaningful ways beyond simply eating them. Each stall reflected a distinctive theme and purpose, allowing students to experiment, create, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences.

The fruit-themed stall beautifully captured the colours, freshness, and joyful spirit of summer while encouraging students to appreciate the beauty and variety of nature’s gifts.
🔪 Live Fruit Carving and Decoration Corner
*Theme: "Watch creativity come alive"*
Students showcased their artistic talents through live fruit carving and decorative presentations, transforming ordinary fruits into stunning works of art and demonstrating the beauty of creativity through food.
🎨 Fruit Art and Craft Zone
*Theme: "A fun-filled creative corner for young artists"*
This corner encouraged imagination and innovation as students designed fruit-based crafts, paintings, and creative models, proving that learning can be both artistic and educational.
🍎 Nutritional Awareness Corner
*Theme:"Healthy fruits, healthy life"*
Students presented the nutritional values and health benefits of fruits, creating awareness about healthy eating habits and promoting the importance of a balanced lifestyle.
🥭 Seasonal Fruit Focus
*Theme:"Celebrating the richness of our local fruits"*
This segment beautifully highlighted the seasonal fruits of Bangladesh while creating awareness about several nearly extinct native fruits that are gradually disappearing from our heritage and daily lives.
🌍 International Fruit Gallery
*Theme:"Travel the world through fruits"*
Students explored how different countries are connected through their unique fruits and food cultures, allowing visitors to experience global diversity through an educational and interactive presentation.
🔬 Scientific Exploration Corner
*Theme:"Where science meets fruits"*
This stall transformed fruits into tools of scientific discovery as students conducted exciting experiments and demonstrated various scientific concepts through practical applications.
🏥 Fruit Hospital
*Theme:"The healthiest hospital in town"*
Through this creative concept, students explored the healing benefits of fruits as natural remedies and learned how healthy food choices contribute to overall well-being.
🌾 Farmer Appreciation Segment
*Theme:"A tribute to the hands that feed us"*
Our students paid heartfelt tribute to the hardworking farmers whose dedication and sacrifice provide us with food and nourishment every day.
The festival became a beautiful blend of education and enjoyment, where learning stepped beyond textbooks and entered real-life experiences. Students enthusiastically participated in experiments, presentations, artistic displays, and interactive activities that strengthened creativity, teamwork, communication skills, critical thinking, and experiential learning.
Our little learners added even more joy to the celebration as they learned to identify different fruits, explored colours and shapes, and developed healthy eating habits through fun-filled interactive activities. Their excitement, curiosity, and smiling faces truly made the event memorable.
The programme became even more inspiring with the gracious visit of our respected Chairman, whose presence highly encouraged both students and teachers. He visited the stalls with great interest and appreciation, observed the creative presentations of the learners, and praised the innovative educational concepts implemented throughout the festival. His valuable words of encouragement greatly motivated our students and made the event even more memorable and meaningful.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our respected Principal, whose visionary guidance, continuous encouragement, and valuable supervision inspired us to implement this new concept successfully. His leadership and support played a vital role in making the entire festival meaningful, organized, and impactful.
We are immensely proud of our students, teachers, coordinators, and everyone whose dedication, creativity, and hard work made this educational journey successful.
