Responsibilities:
1. Identification of test requirements, preparing comprehensive test plan for Web and Mobile Applications.
2. Execute test cases, analyze results and create bug report
3. Perform thorough re-test & regression testing when bugs are resolved
4. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python
5. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, Like Selenium WebDriver, pytest, TestNG, Appium (additionally, Cypress).
6. Perform API testing using Postman (additionally, SoapUI)
7. Performance testing using JMeter
8. Knowledge of Bug Tracking Tool: Jira
9. Knowledge of source control systems (e.g., Git/Github) and CI/CD pipelines (plus).
10. Knowledge of SQL/Oracle/MySQL databases is plus

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
2. Minimum Six (6) months of experience in relevant field
3. Proven Quality Assurance experience with Agile Software Development methodologies, STLC

Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA)

Context:The SQA Engineer is responsible for testing and quality assurance of software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring a high level of product quality. They collaborate closely with software developers and senior QA engineers to implement effective testing strategies and improve the overall software development process.

👨‍💻Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and strategies for software testing based on project requirements and specifications.
• Participate in defining test objectives, scope, test environments, and resources required for testing.
• Execute test cases and document test results to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Report and document defects, issues, and deviations from product specifications using a designated bug-tracking system.
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
• Assist in performance testing to assess system stability, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Learn and utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and other relevant artifacts.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Perform functional, smoke, sanity, usability, and regression testing on each release.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in scrum meetings, planning meetings, and scoping activities and work independently and efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Learn new technologies, tools, and techniques with minimal supervision and ensure knowledge transfer.

👨‍🎓 Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

👨‍💻Additional Requirements:

• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of software testing principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus (Ex: Selenium, Jmeter and Postman).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with different project management tools (JIRA, ClickUp and Asana).
• Experience in API Testing with Postman, Performance testing tool (JMeter).
• Ability to under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
