বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার গৌরবময় অর্জনের স্মৃতিবহ এই দিনে, আমরা স্মরণ করছি সেই বীর সন্তানদের, যাঁরা আমাদের জন্য একটি স্বাধীন দেশ উপহার দিয়েছেন।

বিএআইইউএসটি সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এলামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (বিসিইএএ)-এর পক্ষ থেকে সবাইকে বিজয় দিবসের আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা।
এই ঐতিহাসিক দিন আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় দায়িত্বশীল নাগরিক হিসেবে আমাদের কর্তব্য এবং দেশের উন্নয়নে অবদান রাখার অঙ্গীকার।

আমাদের একটি অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশন রয়েছে Baiust Civil Engineering Alumni Association - BCEAA , যা অনেকেই জানেন এবং অনেকেই হয়তো এখনো জানেন না। সর্বশেষ আমরা যখন ভার্সিটিতে একত্রিত হয়েছিলাম, তখন সম্মানিত স্যারদের উপস্থিতিতে সাবেক শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে একটি অ্যালামনাই কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছিল। তবে কমিটি গঠনের এই প্রক্রিয়া সম্পর্কে আমরা অনেকেই আগে থেকে জানতাম না।

যাই হোক, গঠিত এই কমিটি গত এক বছরেরও বেশি সময় ধরে তাদের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী কিছু দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছে। তবে, এখন আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য হলো সকলের অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে, স্বচ্ছতা ও ঐক্য বজায় রেখে, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রতি সত্যিকারের কাজ করার আগ্রহ ও প্রতিশ্রুতি থাকা সাবেক শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে একটি কার্যকরী নতুন কমিটি গঠন করা। এটি সম্পূর্ণ নতুন কমিটি হতে পারে, অথবা পূর্বের সদস্যদের অভিজ্ঞতা ও নতুন আগ্রহীদের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত হতে পারে।

তাই, স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত ও আগ্রহী সাবেক শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রতি বিনীত অনুরোধ থাকবে—যারা চলমান ও সাবেক শিক্ষার্থীদের সমস্যা সমাধানে কাজ করতে ইচ্ছুক, তারা সংযুক্ত ফর্মটি পূরণের মাধ্যমে আপনার ইচ্ছা ও মতামত আমাদের জানাবেন। ইনশাআল্লাহ, আমরা সবার সহযোগিতায় একটি কার্যকরী এবং যথাযথ কমিটি গঠন করতে সক্ষম হব।

We have an Alumni Association, but while some of us are aware of its existence, many may not know about it. The last time we gathered at the university, our esteemed professors formed an alumni committee with the presence of former students. None of us were aware beforehand that such a committee was going to be established.

Over the past year, this committee, though with limited resources, has been carrying out some responsibilities to the best of its capacity.
Now, we aim to form a new committee – inclusive, effective, and participatory – involving those who genuinely wish to contribute to the development of our university. This could be a completely new committee or a mix of the existing and new members.

We kindly request all enthusiastic and committed alumni to express their willingness and share their thoughts with us by filling out the attached form. InshaAllah, together we will be able to establish a functional and appropriate committee.

The BAIUST Civil Engineering Alumni Association (BCEAA) is delighted to welcome our new advisor, Mr. Engr. Zannatul Mukaddas, to the 25-27 Committee.

Mr. Mukaddas brings a wealth of experience and academic excellence to our alumni community. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at WSP Canada Inc., Canada, he has demonstrated remarkable expertise in the field of civil engineering.

Academic Highlights:

Completed Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada.

Former Postgraduate Student in Water Resources Development at BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology).

As a distinguished alumnus of BAIUST's Civil Engineering Department, his professional achievements and international expertise will inspire and guide us toward new milestones. We are confident his leadership and insight will be invaluable to the BCEAA community.

Let us extend our warmest congratulations and heartfelt best wishes to Mr. Engr. Zannatul Mukaddas as he embarks on this new role with us. Together, let’s strive to make BCEAA even stronger!
